I got a call that my car was on the way but needed to sit on a lot until Ford allowed the owner to actually get behind the wheel due to the recall. A few days after it arrived the dealership called me and told me I was good to go and could pick it up, which I did last Saturday.

Okey Doke. Well again, that's interesting because as you'll read in the attached
22S41 Tech Info section, modules shown in the list were supposed to be updated before they released the car to you.

I'm posting the list again along with the technical instructions for the recall for your reference and the dealer bulletin your selling dealer received.

Please pay particular attention to the note at the top of page two of the attached dealer bulletin. (I'll go make the popcorn...)

Mike

UPDATE: Please see this thread that discusses recalling the recall.

Bringing my car into the dealer next week for the software recall. Would be great to know if any other updates are outstanding.

Hi, took my car to the dealer beginning of june and was told it only needed a single PAAK related update.

After reading through this thread i suspect that i may have been misinformed. Could someone lookup my car and perhabs tell me what they "did" back in june?

Also, what is the built date of the car?

VIN: WF0TK3SUXNMA05375

Thanks :)

The only FDRS session showing for your car was on 18 May. The RFA module was updated at that time. Nothing since.

Thanks a lot! 18 May must be the day it was at the dealer then.

I continue to experience the following problems, would any of the pending updates by any chance fix them, or would it be a waste of time to bring the car to the dealer once again?
  • The charge curve is disappointing (OBCC?)
  • Using multiple profiles the seats are not always correctly changing position (DSM?)
  • Temperature settings seem to change randomly. AC and EHEAT turn on/off without me changing anything when turning on the car (HVAC?)
  • Recall related stuff (BECM + SOBDMC?)
  • The charging of my cellphone is VERY slow and the phone gets pretty hot.
  • PAAK is still hit and miss, but got better after the update in may
  • Sometimes I can't open the backseat doors until I have opened the front door
  • When closing the trunk it sometimes stops for no reason at all as if a sensor has registered an obstacle or something

I’m trying to do updates right now for another member and I’m having issues authenticating.

Is anyone else experiencing an outrage right now?

I can “log-in” and run a network test, but as soon as I try to download an update, it asks to login again and fails.

I think everyone of those things are exactly what you need to tell your service advisor.

Oh good to know it’s not an ID-10T error.
I ran some VINs successfully over an hour ago. It was down for me about two hours ago but should certainly be back up by now. I haven't tried downloading anything though, just checking VINs for updates.

UPDATE: Nope it's back down again as of 0950 Central. I'll check it again in a few minutes.

UPDATE: As of 1045 Central FDRS is back up.
