I already explained this above. A mile to get back on the interstate and back off at the next charger takes like ONE MPH off the average. So 74 instead of 75. NOT 48.

48 is a helluva long way from 75.
But traffic does slow you down. It's a complete impossibility to do a trip at precisely the steady state speed you desire. Completely impossible to the point of irrelevancy for range estimations, which is why the EPA test is more accurate for comparisons anyway than some non-laboratory controlled test.

Agree with that. Then there's possibly the biggest reduction... high speed. That's what I was trying to get an estimate on, like at a constant 75 MPH. Maybe another 20% less?

But never the exact precise speed you set for your arbitrary test, and not on the same elevation changes, same wind speed, and same exterior temperature you set for your arbitrary test. It's absolutely irrelevant to fixate on some unachievable "real-world" test that is anything but.

Better hope nobody turns out in front of you, no construction, etc... dude, please get real there is no such thing as a repeatable "real world" test - that's WHY lab tests exist.

So since I actually have time series data sampled every minute for every mile my car has driven, here's a 2-hour drive recently at "75 MPH"

Ford Mustang Mach-E Ford Range Increase Coming? 1603159880548

The problem with the "real world" is that there's other people in it. Someone who caused an accident at 4:27 above. Another other problem with the "real world" is that there's construction in it. See 3:32 above.

Not to mention the inability to pass, people hogging the left lane, etc.

Why did you completely ignore what I JUST SAID??? I even added a little low speed to get on off the highway for interstate chargers that are common right off the highway.

Just forget it. I know people here are smarter than this, despite the refusal to understand what's being said.

I think you will find I didn't ignore a thing.

I did not say that the EPA test was right. I said that a "real-world" test can't be done.

Sorry, point me to where I said there was a repeatable "real-world" test?

I gave you real data from my car in the conditions my car experienced. They are not repeatable, transferrable, or applicable to any other vehicle - obviously.
