The recall was applied to my car OTA earlier this month by Ford. Yesterday I got the Service Vehicle Soon message when driving and an obvious loss of power from the car. When I got home and pulled codes I found P0ADE & P0ADA, which are the new codes added by the recall to warn of impending bricking of the HVBJB.This is the most concerning news I've heard ..... as I remember they said you had the new HVBJB part. Confirmed?
Did you get a SVS -- or a SSN?
Looking at my invoice from May when they replaced my first HVBJB, it lists the updated "B" version of the part (the part listed is NK4Z*10C666*B on my invoice). Now, whether or not I actually got the new part is unclear as that is just about the time the new part was released. I do know for sure though that this time I will be getting an updated part.
I have an appointment to drop it off tomorrow at the same dealer who worked on it the first time. They seemed very receptive to take it in again, especially with all of the info I was able to give them ahead of time, so that is encouraging.
