Hi Mike

Could you run my VIN? I have not yet received the recall update and may want to bring it in so I can also get the driver seat update (does it work like that?)... that problem is driving me nuts....

VIN: 3FMTK3SU7NMA15619

Thanks

Comments possibly overheard near the service advisor's desk....

"My seats and mirrors adjust to the settings for my wife's fob when I'm using my fob, and sometimes they adjust to my settings when she drives with her fob" = DSM

"My car seems to lose bluetooth connections sometimes with my phone." = RFA

"My (or significant other driver's) iPhone gets really warm when it's on the charging pad but doesn't really charge". = WACM

"I've noticed that I'm not getting a lot of heat from the HVAC system when it's cold outside." = HVAC

Had the 22S41 update a couple of weeks back and just got the SVS warning, I am assuming the code will be flagged and they can work out if it is indeed the HVBJB that has caused the issue.

Here's the list of updates (which does include the ones affected by recall 22S41):
3FMTK3R71NMA31251-24-Aug-22.png

Based on your build date and not having the recall performed yet (OTA or in person) this list is what would be expected.

There are modules listed that haven't been covered by an OTA and likely will not be for some time. They would be things like the DSM that is updated if the owner has a concern that their driver's seat and mirrors do not adjust to the profile settings that correspond to the fob they're using at the time, but they adjust possibly to the settings for the other fob. The HVAC update would address a concern the owner might have with not enough heat being provided in the cabin when it's cold outside.

Given the list above and your build date I would not be concerned that you are falling behind.

Mike
Thanks! After seeing your description of what the DSM bug is, that's my most annoying issue currently and I made a post about it: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/inconsistency-loading-driver-profiles.20508/

So I'll be watching for a behavior update after my first OTA, or I will request at least the DSM update if I happen to need a trip to the dealer.

Recommend you schedule an appointment with service to have the CSP 21P22 updates performed at no cost to you before Ford's funding of that program ends.

Would anyone mind checking if the SOBDM module has an update available for me? 3FMTK3SU3MMA02462 .

For context I had my blue cruise updates completed today and politely asked if the SOBDM module was also updated because of my recent "40a overheating while charging issue". The response ei got was less than confidence inspiring. "If it was part of blue cruise, then yes, but the tech isn't completely sure." Smfh

Thank you!

30 Oct '20 build date, very early Job 1 car.

Here's the list of available updates, and I'm throwing in a copy of CSP 21P22 for you to show your service manager to get some of these updates done and off the list. They won't be done by OTAs. If your BlueCruise updates were done....then why didn't they do the CSP 21P22 updates that are required at step 19 of the 21G01 BlueCruise procedure?

Hi Mike.
I was hoping you could run my vin. I just got it back from the dealer. They said they did the two recalls (windshield and software for battery) and replaced a module.

I've been waiting for bluecruise forever and will probably just take the thing in to get the updates.

Thanks!

Why they left that TCU not done is a bit of a mystery. That and the GWM are usually priorities. (Well they are for most people updating).

And the BCM/GFM combo would have let you open the frunk using the door keypad (7/8 button). But noooo.

So it would certainly appear that your cruise control updates are not happening for some reason, but it looks like some things have been updated, like your Sync seems to be up-to-date, but other things aren't.

I'd schedule the car in for 21G01 to get BlueCruise done by a tech. A year and a half is long enough to wait.
