And many of these could be done by the dealer for free due to the previous owner's not having CSP 21P22 applied. Add to that the fact that on 8 July attempts were made by someone (assuming a tech) to repeatedly but haphazardly (not following the written steps) do the BlueCruise updates and the APIM and IPC module programming failed, and they bailed out. Clearly somebody didn't know what they were doing or were having a challenging day. It may have been their internet connection by the look of it.

Would it be possible to recheck my vehicle (early May 22 build, was checked about 6 weeks ago)? Have had a few OTA updates (currently at 3.2.1), but keep getting the missing key alert using PAAK. Also, I'm curious to learn what was done (e.g. recall or other udpates) before delivery on July 14. Thank you.

Wow! Thanks so much for this. Taking it in to a dealer on Monday morning and hoping they can knock off some of this. If there's any advice on how to tell them what I need, I am all ears. I had bad luck with a dealer previously in getting them to understand.

Thank you. Ford actually sent me the two TSBs for Wireless Charging Issues and being stuck on 1.7.1. I don't want to overwhelm the dealer. In your experience, should I reference the TSBs or the CSPs? Will they be more receptive to one over the other?

As much as I’d love to think I’m getting the right OTA updates, these last couple of months something feels off and I hate interacting with my dealer. I’ve had issues come back that I thought were resolved months ago (mostly BCM related with opening doors, PAAK). I’m curious if something is stuck or was downgraded for some reason along the way - it just doesn’t seem as stable after the 2.8.x series of updates (after getting BlueCruise in an earlier OTA via early access - 2.7.X perhaps?). Would you mind checking VIN 3FMTK3SU6MMA10927 ?

Well just tell them what you're having problems with (like iPhone charging if that's the case) and the fact that you know CSP 21P22 has not been completed and neither has 21G01 BlueCruise...in no way should that overwhelm them at this point. They've had months to figure out how to program Mach-E's and '21/'22 F-150s that have many of the same internals.

They should be able to step up at this point. Seriously, we have un-trained civilians on this forum who can program updates and get APIMS unstuck. A Ford trained tech ought to be able to do it by now wouldn't you think?

That RFA update could be something you need. Having PAAK problems and losing connections to your car through Bluetooth is symptomatic.

Are those covered in 22B08? They said they would only do recall and CSP as that wears what they showed so I’m trying to understand what to tell them so they’ll do these as well. Thanks so so so much!!
