So these two OTAs were actually available in FDRS before they hit OTA?!? Thank the heavens! I don’t even think 2.8.3 ever hit FDRS.
2.8.3 on Job 2 seems to have been the only update anyone has seen that didn’t show up on FDRS before (or in this case ever) an OTA.

Do you have the full screen android auto after the update?
We don't use Android Auto but the option is there now... I haven't tried it.

Just went out to try it, unless I am missing it no difference on full screen AA. Same empty space below when you say expand. I didn't see any settings for it.

There seems to be an additional vertical line on IPC when LKAS is active on these update.

We should see this in the 3.x.x series updates. This update prepares for those updates. Hopefully soon!

I wonder if they’re going to start pumping out the redesigned infotainment display to 2022’s soon. Would be absolutely SHOCKING if they get 21’s and 22’s on what’s going to be shipped on the ‘23s before they are delivered. Doubtful, but you never know!

New production would get it first, existing cars would get the OTA a year later judging by current trends.

Ford really needs to adopt a more aggressive OTA strategy so most all Mach-E's are on the same or similar software level at the same time. Right now it's just version hell and release of '23s is going to add a third or fourth layer to it. When '23s hit the dealer lots the OTAs for that software should start for the rest of us. '21s still haven't gotten the redesigned climate controls that was put on my car in Jan at the factory.

I know they’ve missed deadlines non stop, but Farley said it was to come fall this year, if I recall correctly. So they at least planned to have it before 2023’s were in people’s hands. Hopefully they make it happen, but you’re right, current trends don’t bode well for OTA’s.

2021 Job 1 & 2 are just about at feature parity now and on the same SYNC version. I would expect that next step would be to get 2021 to the 2022 SYNC version and then bring both to the 2023 version. I think 2022 is optimistic.

Got this update yesterday and things are wonky for me. CarPlay connection is hit or miss (could be unrelated?). When I’m in Settings and back to the Home Screen, the little X on the car (top left) doesn’t disappear. Did a master reset and these issues are resolved. But now my cars beeps are downgraded to the standard 8-bit sounds. Hope that fixes itself

Update: CarPlay issues are back and propulsion sound setting won’t stay enabled. When I turn it on, it immediately turns itself off in all drive modes. Could be entirely unrelated to this update but I’ve had nothing but issues after installing this one

Has to sat for an extended period of time since the update? I had odd issues after doing the update via FDRS and after letting it charge and sit over night, it was back to normal in the morning.
