I got the same email. Update is working great so I'm having a hard time getting worked up about this. People complained about not getting information on updates ("little things here and there"). Now they complain when they find a typo in the information.

I guess people will lambast Ford, they will add an extra step before sending an update, and updates will go out slower.

Eh, this is more than some misplaced punctuation, which would be a trivial mistake and could be forgiven.
The missing text renders the whole message pointless. It’s like if you ordered a burger, but it came without any meat.

But the message isn't what is being delivered, the software is. So in this case your burger came without a properly printed wrapper.

Maybe it was an update that was pulled by Ford, so the message didn't populate properly. I had checked the update history for a couple people on this site and found an update that was marked as "cancelled by Ford". Would have to check the VIN of someone that got the message to see if there is anything more to retrieve.
