100% NOT my experience. Hours of 80 without limit or issue on my 480 and 250 mile drives. Maybe it's just me and I'm lucky. Either way, I was a bit concerned before my purchase. I bought it, drove it and can't find it. I tried.

Flame 🔥 on
@Studly Where'd you go?

You've had this entire holiday weekend to photoshop your proof picture.

I'm driving my car and enjoying my family. The 5 second thing described I cannot find. I'm sorry that my Mach e GT is so good at going fast. I cannot complain.

This is still my experience:

My MME flies after 70, 80 and runs out of road before running out of power. Easily reaching speed under any circumstances. I've only driven 750 miles in the last few days though. Could be I have the only non restrained GT. Picked it up and drove 480 miles the first day. Divided highway and two lane. Hilly and flat. Drove a fast 260 miles on day 3. My GT is Fast. Really fast. No bars. My actual driving experience.

Pictures, or video of your experience?

There is no GT in the wild running some sort of updated pcm strategy that allows more than 5 seconds of full power. None. Anyone commenting to the contrary is mistaken.

Just like the member back in May or June of ‘21 that swore they had BlueCruise enabled and then posted videos purportedly showing automagic “lane changes”. Nope. Sorry.
True that you don't own a Mach e GT??

Since I think I was the first person to video the jail bars I'll jump in. I love entertaining trolls.

Now put up...

Actually, why don't you send me your VIN while you're at it so I can take a look for myself.

Nope. Because it’s a dog after 80mph. And the 4X is my wife’s anyway. I have my own car that’s a helluva lot more capable than either.

Btw, none of that changed the fact that your GT is a dog after 80mph just like everyone’s.

Fine, I’ll feed you as well. The bars start at 71 mph. Here is one bar at 71……. While bluecruising over the skyway bridge.

Every single video or pic above this speed on a GT has grey bars. Yea, they’re small (have to zoom in to see).

It’s like an AI is auto-posting these comments pretending to be a guy who thinks he’s got the only actually unbridled MME GT.
Not sure why it’s taken me two years to realize the irony of the word “unbridled” with the 5 second limit.

“Unbridled extend” takes it to a whole other level.

GT should come with “bridled” mode.

Back to seriousness.. Farley said that the 2024 MME GT was getting "improvements." This was reported to me by an Engineer who works for Ford, not something I read. Perhaps the intent is to fix the issues causing the power reduction scenarios. Or at least greatly improve them.

Is this the same engineer that said the fix for the power loss was due to come out in March of this year?

Either way, 2024 is a long ways away, and many new competitors will be out then including the BLazer and the Macan EV.

Don't know who that engineer was, this guy was just reporting something that was said in corporate-wide communications, he has nothing to do with the BEV programs.

Also, to clarify, the implication was that it would be design changes/improvements for MY24, which I would assume means its unlikely that it would be retro-active on the earlier cars.
