“Mach-e” is too awkward to say. Kids call it a “Pony Car.” I feel like if I call it a Mustang, my uncle Joey is gonna drive straight from Wisconsin to kick my ass

I call it "my car." Everyone else calls it "your car,"which is confusing because that's what the kids and I call my wife's car.

We have one car, the mach-e. We have a jeep wrangler our clever name for it is "jeep." We have two pickups. If we need to differentiate it's "The Tacoma," or "The Raptor." My wife does call the mach-e "the mustang" more often than I do (as in once in a while vs never).

My 4yo son told to make sure I buy a Wrangler 4xe. He loves Jeeps so much, the name Jeep is music to my ears.

He forgave me ONLY because there is a pony on the trunk of the Mach-e.

I let the names of my cars come to me. I'm zen like that. Usually female because the default AI voice is female. My car is Cyber Orange (golden yellow in the sun really). The arching design queues made me think of a lioness so I call her Sheeba. Still trying to figure out how to change my horn to a growl.

"Mach-E", however, Mach-E, said fast, sounds like my daughter's "Marquis", so sometimes, we call the mach-e the "red car". Sometimes, the "fancy car" (as compared to my 2014 Honda, it is pretty fancy).

NEVER "Mustang". Just can't go there.

my 8 year old only calls it "ford electric mustang mach-e" or "the car with no door handles"

We call it the Mach-E or E-Pony. It has some styling cues to emulate my old Mustang but I don’t have a problem with Ford or anyone else calling it a Mustang!
