I've parsed the owners manual and can't quite track down what's behind this cover. I haven't checked yet :) . Just noticed it this afternoon.

Maybe the 12v battery access? I know in the 2021s some were modifying that spot roughly to add access to the battery. I think I read Ford later added easier access.
That’s just my suspicion though, I haven’t seen one of the newer MME Frunks to know for sure.

Hmm, I thought the 12v access was the front cover on the lower bumper.

Uh, no. It takes about 2 seconds to pop the cover off and reveal that there's nothing there. And the front cover on the lower bumper will pop the frunk if the battery is dead, but won't give 12V access.

I think I saw somewhere that the covers (there's one on the other side) allow you to access the headlight positioning adjustment screw...

Correct. Headlamp positioning adjustments are under those covers.

lol this is so comical, they clearly could have made the 12v contacts more accessible. How often do people adjust their headlights?

Are you SURE that isn’t where the oil filler cap and dipstick are? Someone just reported that they received a complimentary 10K oil change from their dealer, and this would be the logical place for those items?

Came here to say this exact thing.
Whenever I find that my high beams aren’t sufficiently blinding the idiot in front of me who’s puttering along at 25 MPH on the two-lane 45 MPH road ?
