I hear ya. Clearing the code will reset the codes and roving behavior, but of course it can be triggered again and come back before the hardware failure is coming.
Why Ford wasn't able to make the DTC code for contactor damage non-clearable is beyond me....

Well, my GTPE just puked 2 days ago, it's at the dealer and they said the HVBJB is on back order with no date. Does anyone know what the part # is for a GTPE HVBJB?

Just talked to Madera Ford again. They have put a total of 65 miles on my car and have not been able to "replicate the error"...

I mentioned the TSB once more and she said the tech said the TSB does not apply to my vehicle! Even though I had the correct DTC and my vehicle was built well before 28-May-2022!
She said they will call Ford and ask them what they will need to do....

How can I get them to at least stop driving my vehicle? Should I go in-person?

If you have not yet done so, call Ford Customer Care 1-800-392-3673 and talk with the BEV team. They can locate an HVBJB and get it expedited. ??

Well, I think I've finally joined the club.

2021 Premium AWD/Extended Range. Delivered January 2022.

I had a HVBJB/powertrain fault 3 months ago, but it disappeared after parking the car all afternoon and restarting it. I got the recall software update done at the dealer around the same time.

I'd been driving a lot the last few days, putting on maybe 200+ highway miles in the last 3 days. Oddly, I also just got a new charger, the JuiceBox40. I was driving home last night at maybe 75 mph when the errors popped up on the dash and from the app. I've got 13k miles on the car so far.

Luckily, I live near Serramonte Ford, so I just limped in to drop off the car even though the service department was closed. They are too busy to get to me this week, but hopefully I can at least get squeezed in for a diagnostic. I'd like to get a replacement rental car ASAP.

If anyone wants to do a VIN lookup for my error codes, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll keep you all posted.

My dealer did the same thing. If they want it to trigger again, they need to take it over hilly terrain and FLOOR IT. My tech hit 90+ mph to get it to trip again. Obviously, they do NOT need to do this and suck at reading, but if you're not getting anywhere...

Also, make sure you have a BEV case manager and tell your service advisor to submit a hotline request and to send you a photo of their response, if they say to just return the car.

I have dropped off my Premium at my local dealership after seeing the infamous warning lights. Dealership called me and said that the HVBJB has to be replaced and has been ordered. There is a case number opened with BEV as well. The dealer informs me that there is no ETA as to when the part will come.

Appreciate if others can share experiences as to the time taken to replace the HVBJB.

Agreed.
I would advise others who are just encountering this HVB issue to adamantly disallow the dealership to test drive the car.

Yes I would like to update the form to benefit others but dont have an ETA from the dealership, so I cant complete that form. Will do so when get a definitive ETA from them.
