Don't know if I posted your list the other day. I know I looked it up but can't see where it got posted. Things happen quickly around here....

Anyway here it is as of this morning:

So TCU first, then the PCM...doors, GFM, GSM, and finish off with the BCM. That would be my recommended sequence. Have a great weekend!

Mike
Thanks Mike

Well we have it back from the second dealer who says they updated a dozen modules and have 21P22 now properly complete. They were working with corporate, so hopefully we're in a good state. Can I get a check to confirm? VIN 3FMTK3SUXMMA28315 Please and thanks in advance!

So here's something you don't see everyday...

Here's the session log from the 11th showing the programming that went on that day. Take note of the names of the modules that got updated:

And now the list of currently available updates:

And on the 12th the did update your WACM module to address a phone charging issue I would guess. And that went fine.

No idea why many of the modules the session log says updated successfully on the 11th are still showing up in your available update list....like it never happened.

That's... not reassuring. One of the things we made sure was on the to-fix-list along with completing 21P22 was the driver's seat going to the wrong position. Which it did to me, twice, today. The first time I thought it might have been because my wife was also present and walking to the trunk, so maybe it hadn't noticed I was the one by the driver's door. The second time, while she was also present, she was nowhere near the driver's side.

Now, I can report that the passenger door does successfully lock and unlock, which was also on the list. But I know from the forums (and the 12V going dead) that a "hard reboot" of the door modules can fix that for a time. It will be interesting to see if that breaks again.

May I please ask you to run my VIN: 3FMTK3SUXMMA59340

The service ticket I received on Monday says that they did very little for me, but update 22-PU0727-VI-FXB dropped just after they pulled it out of the shop, followed by 22-PU0707-SCH-POPB and 3.5.2 over the next four days.

You are eligible for CSP 21P22 and I wouldn't wait around to get that scheduled. Funding runs out in Nov and then the cost is on you. They will also do your HVJB recall at the same time. There were several folks who were taken by surprise when they waited too long to get an appointment for BlueCruise programming and it expired on the 3rd of Oct. *Do not rely on OTAs*

Mike
I took my MME to the dealership and while they said that they could push all the recall upates, they couldn't do some of the modules since the diagnostic technician wasn't in. They did say that one of the updates they were pushing was supposed to fix OTA update failures (which I started getting the day before I went to the dealership). After some errors it looks like things are fixed and I'm now on version 3.5.2 (EA) but I also got a message afterwards saying that updates failed and it would try when more were available, which went away overnight. I'm still not sure if I got all of the out of date modules and software updates, can I get checked again? If the modules don't update OTA over the next week then I have to take it in again so a diagnostic technician can see why they are either not being pushed or failing. VIN 3FMTK3RM8MMA45555.

Ummm okay...so they have a tech who does module updates using the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System...and then they have a separate completely different tech who does just diagnostic routines with the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System laptop?

? ...let me write that one down...that's new....

Here's the list as it stands today:

And I hope their FDRS "diagnostician" is there the next time....;)

Broken down into categories, you have another round of the 22S41 recall-related updates (PCM, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMC), a new series of door module updates to prevent premature wear on the 'door presenters', a body controller update (BCM), the gear shifter update (GSM), the same old driver's seat module update, and wireless accessory pad update from earlier this year (DSM, and WACM).

Hi Mike,
Sorry for the late reply but brought it today directly to the dealer, they say everything is up2date now...but still have these issues.

I do not want to bother you to much but could you do a check for me if they are completly honest with me?

Thanks a million for all your help to the community

Dirk

Would this be an appropriate place to see if there are any codes accessible to determine how severe my High-Voltage Battery Warning and Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power warnings are? Dealerships are saying a month out to even look at it.
If something can be learned, vin is 3FMTK4SX8NMA19615. Thanks!

Recommend sending a DM to either @Gimme_my_MME or @Mach-Lee and ask them about DTCs. I can't see those with just FDRS. It takes PTS for that.
