While "they can do whatever they want" is a little extreme, there is a chance they could pull something at delivery. But when it comes to orders, that kind of thing is not the norm. Especially as each passing week shows a cooling car market and dealers can't just expect someone else to come along and buy it for their insane mark up.Why... How .... it's like money theft. The order literally says dealer selling price... in that way, anyone can do anything but the question is how is it allowed, as I placed the order myself, and they just act as a delivery person here. This feels like Pizza delivery asking for 30% extra money at our door... But let's see what happens
Just be confident, don't tell them it's your first car purchase (assuming it is) or anything to that effect. Take your time, ask them to explain anything you find unusual, and others said not to go alone and if you have any options there I also recommend it.
Good luck, deep breaths, odds are it will all be fine.
