Order Scheduled for Production Date

I called my Ford dealer and my original rep was out on leave for a while which explains the lack of response. I was able to have another person find my VIN and the following snapshot. I am guessing as we get closer the last 3 columns will get populated. Soon real soon

What is the difference between "Scheduled to Day" and "Scheduled to Week"?

Is the "to Day" item the actual build day? (My dealer sent me the same snapshot but I only have 1-line and it says "Scheduled to Day".)

I think the 3 lines are just history of status updates; the top one is the current state. Since the 8th is a tuesday, I am going to say that december 8th is the actual date it is supposed to be built; otherwise it would say "week of 12/7".

Yes. Scheduled to Day is the expected day it starts the assembly process. Looks like your dealer filtered his screen to show the most recent status item.

I believe....(but have yet to confirm) that Scheduled to Day is the day "Assembly" starts. Meaning, the body is already assembled and stacked waiting to be painted and trimmed. Still trying to confirm this though.....

Yes. Not only did they figure out it’s a Mach E, they got the color right

I have the same issue... I have an iPhone. Initially when u first entered the VIN I was able to see a Mach E and some how I was seeing the whisper drive option. After that screen nothing... now I can’t see anyway to get back to selecting drive or selecting temp or schedule temp serf up ... saw that all once and nothing after that. It’s buggy app is my opinion at this time.

Use Chrome. Their HTML is sloppy.

Interesting - an update. I just went to my FORD account to check on things and I noticed that the build week of my vehicle was improved by a week - to the week of 12/13/2020. I wonder if there's now a chance of it arriving to the dealer (in NC) before year's end??

there’s always a slight chance but given the date, not likely.

I wonder if that happens when you get your build "day" assigned. Do they do a 2-pass kind of thing and scheduled cars to build "weeks" as an initial guesstimate and then when the final scheduling is done for the days some of the cars in one week are moved ahead to the prior week when its day is assigned to that Friday, perhaps.

Give your dealer a call and see if you have a Day of build (and a VIN if you don't already know it).

I'm guessing you hadn't checked on your order since originally getting your date in October? You look to be one of us lucky mid/southeast customers who got our week moved up about a week after the original email with the 21st build week. I've only seen a few of us in the VA/NC area who had this happen and we were all originally week of 21, moved up to 13th.

My guess is they decided on a different transport method/route and bumped a few up since they had extra room.
