Happy accident at Ford service! I got the new updated SYNC 4A installed!! Non Early-Access

So happy accident today at Ford. I took my '22 Mach e GT in on Wed because there was no way to schedule updates (posted about it before) and it was stuck pending updates. It had been like that since I got it in October. They said they fixed it. When I got in I was surprised with the new Sync!!!!!

It seems so much quicker and less cartooney. I can't wait to mess around with it. I guess driving around in an EcoSport loaner for the last few days was worth it!!

I haven't even looked yet, I'm gonna go through it now! I just got it home.

Would love to know how you expand and shrink the main window now that the icon is gone. I'm also curious what Carplay looks like in the smaller mode.

Fantastic! They put the camera button on the top left potion of the Home Screen. This is the main enhancement I was hoping for. I guess Ford is listening to us after all. Well done Ford!!! Thank you!

Can you upload a video of the new features? I bet the fan and temp are controlled by volume knob. Also the cam is at the top. Did you have to redo PAAK? Thanks for posting!

Faster is definitely good! I also like the frunk and trunk controls on the first page. Can you let us know about the auto/fan settings and dials too?

Yes it does! And on the main screen has a Trunk and Frunk button

Early reports from 2023 owners have said that you can't shrink the screen anymore, so now the cards below are permanently small (and much less functional).

I have Android Auto, so far looks the same to me. It does connect way better though.
