11/7/22 Build Week Thread for 2023 MME's

Is there anything else I can do to track my order?

Ordered on 8/30.
Built 11/11 (9217 1147/1419).
Original delivery estimate was 12/7-13 (on 11/13). It slipped by a week once and then slipped again this past weekend to 12/21-27.
Contacted Ford Chat on 12/7 and received BNSF railcar # TTGX159535. FC also said the car was at ramp 6M in Argentine, KS on 12/4 but that was not the current location. CSX's 800 number has no good info on this railcar (empty at Richmond on 11/12/22 is the last info CSX has). Dealer (Walnut Creek Ford) told me the car was still in Kansas as of 12/9 and that it would take "up to three weeks" to arrive from there. Ford Chat had no new information when I contacted them on 12/16. I asked the dealer for another update this morning and am waiting to hear back.

Yeah, contact the GM, Camron, at WC Ford and he will get you a VinView update. He should keep you updated with any progress after that as he receives it.

I’ve only seen posted on here the route through Nogales for the lucky ones to skip KC. That’d be great if it heads west from Laredo. But my dealership is in the Bay Area. Any Bay Area folks have their vehicles skip KC?

If the manager isn't available, ask for someone in the sales department. I have good luck just talking to the people in the sales department. Each time I've asked them if they can give me an update on location, one of them is usually able to see where it is. I am usually put on hold for a couple of minutes and maybe they are passing the lookup task to the GM, but they're always right on it.

I would suggest taking matters into your own hands and tracking it using one of the carrier services contact numbers like CSX or NS. I have been using CSX to track my railcar and it should be arriving in Pearland, TX hopefully before EOD (made a lot of progress today alone based on the automated system), then it is just a truck to the dealership.

Tried tracking your Railcar # TTGX691091 and it mentioned that it is in Birmingham, Alabama. You might want to try it for yourself.

Just confirming via CSX that my MME is now in Pearland, TX. This means it could be on its way to the dealership as early as tomorrow and pick up should not be far behind.

Asking because I am really confused right now. According to NS tracking, TTGX987343, arrived in Avon Lake, OH on Dec 10th with a status of "notification ground only" then, I think, with a status of "PCO" on Dec 13th. It stayed that way unit Dec 17th when it stated "intermediate arrival Shinrock, OH" then later that day it arrived in bellvue, OH. As of today, it shows the train has once again arrived in Avon Lake as of 12:30pm Dec 19th?

Has this happened to anyone else? The car/train arrives to the final ramp location, departs, and then comes back before being unloaded? I have not yet gotten a UNLD status in calling and tracking. Ford chat Saturday showed that it arrived at OH ASY but didn't state what day/time.

Best wishes to my fellow MME brethren hoping to get their cars. Finally cleared all the hurdles and received my Select AWD vapor blue. Dealer in MA told me on the way out he now has 2 other 2023s, a premium and a CA Rt 1 available due to cancellations.

Don't worry! Never got unload status for Norfolk Southern. It just tells you where the TRAIN car is, not your car. So used to tracking being a package but not in this case.

Yeah I was so scared when I saw my train car move backwards but my car in MA was unloaded on a truck in MA and the dealer called me and let me know the car was on the way to the dealership while I was freaking out thinking there was a shipping error and my car was already back in NY before I got the phone call update.

Well, my vehicle is finally on the move and is in Laredo waiting to be transferred to a new rail for, I’m assuming, Kansas City.

That’s it for me. No way the vehicle arrives before the new year. This entire process has been so frustrating, especially knowing someone else with an order six weeks after me and a higher production number is set to buy their car from the same dealer in a couple days (frustration is towards Ford not the customer). Not to mention the sales rep wouldn’t provide updates past what the emails state, and is being cryptic about the Federal tax credit. I have found more information from this forum on the tax credit than my dealer can/would provide.

If anyone wants a Vapor Blue ER AWD Premium with Nite Pony package, it will be at Serramonte Ford sometime in January. Allegedly.

My car took 15 days to get from Laredo tx to simi valley so maybe you have hope!! Good luck

Mine's there now too. FC says it arrived Laredo, TX Dec. 14th and hasn't left yet. Maybe we'll both get lucky and skip KC? Can't wait for my car to get the Bay Area too!

Ford chat only updates each location it lands at. I went from Laredo tx to Mira loma to my dealership

Just checked in with FC this morning. They confirmed what my dealer told me, that as of yesterday, the car is in Mira Loma. BUT, the ETA is still January 11, 2023 - January 17, 2023. Mira Loma to my dealer is about 62 miles. I really don't know why it would take the car almost a month to get here from there.

I have hope for you they told me it would be 3-5 days at Mira loma was at my dealership the next day!!! Keep us posted

Now that my car has finally reached Pearland, the ETA got moved out about 5 days on Ford page, no email or text yet. Some think this is done automatically by some kind of ford algorithm. But either way I am still optimistic for an on time delivery.

Especially because I know another person who had their mach-e arrive before mine is still stuck in Avon from at least a week or two earlier then me.

We're all here for each other. Haha yeah I had the same reaction after calling Norfolk Southern automated line at least twice a day (maybe every couple of waking hours...) and seeing the train car start moving away from me. Dealer told me usually up to 7-10 days after unloading from the train to get to my dealership. It took 6 for me. So hopefully, you'll have your soon.
