wow, and there was me getting depressed with mine giving me 160 miles at 80%, ( though, admittedly that was at -5 ).Wow, that is not bad, I am getting 88 miles with 77% battery. That is terrible!
Just had a call from the dealer, they've had no issue with the recall updates, but can't find any reason why the doors are acting up. Checked the fault codes, the key fob battery and the 12V battery and all passed OK. They couldn't replicate the fault so I've got to wait to see if it gets worse or happens every time to find out what's wrong.Got my car booked in for the most recent recall to get the BCM and GFM (22P25) updates done and also get my door modules flashed again as they're playing up, much to the wife's chagrin when she's stood outside the car in the rain (and no it's not because I've left the doors locked). Might ask them, as it's Christmas, if they'll just run all the available updates and get them over with.
i've got a similar issue with mine and have had for ages. Every now and again none of them work, then when you press the drivers door button the rear door opens. Then you can spend ages trying to open them again. I find that if you use the fob to lock then unlock they work better. My dealer has looked at it loads of times but still can't find the fault. My welcome lights don't always work either so it could be connected to that. Who knows? It's just one of those mysteries that we have to put up with.Just had a call from the dealer, they've had no issue with the recall updates, but can't find any reason why the doors are acting up. Mines going in for 22P25 updates this Thursday plus for the missing snowflake icon which I presume will be an IPM update. Will be interesting for both of us if the 22P25 update will unlock further OTA updates? Are we the same person??? I have a similar problem with my doors and dropped the car for a check last week. Difference is the technicians were able to replicate the problem several times. Had the modules reset to factory defaults and updated but still didn't fix it. Dealership escalated to Ford and was told to advise customer to continue using the car until it doesn't work. Patience wearing thin with Ford!Just had a call from the dealer, they've had no issue with the recall updates, but can't find any reason why the doors are acting up. Now the really cold weather has gone I thought I ought to fill up my washer reservoir so got some of the above from Tesco. I could only get about 1 litre in before the reservoir was full. This was the first time I have added screenwash since the car was new on 21 Mar 2022. Now at 6,300 miles. I have been waiting for the car to show a warning for "Low Washer Fluid" or similar but it has not happened so far. I would like to know what volume of washer fluid needs to be added from when the warning shows to Full. I cannot find any mention of this volume in the Owner's Manual or on this forum. Has anyone measured this amount with a good old fashioned jug?
When making up screen wash from the concentrate I have I use a 1 litre bottle. The reservoir will happily take two of those with no issue but it does start to glug after a third…. So my estimate is about 3.5 litres ishNow the really cold weather has gone I thought I ought to fill up my washer reservoir so got some of the above from Tesco. I forgot to mention the IPC issue.Mines going in for 22P25 updates this Thursday plus for the missing snowflake icon which I presume will be an IPM update. Will be interesting for both of us if the 22P25 update will unlock further OTA updates? Here's hoping.
I laboured on the road safety aspect, warning of black ice etc. This approach might help as it appears from logical deduction we have the same dealer. The recall (and the IPC) is being carried out under warranty.I forgot to mention the IPC issue.
Just to manage expectations for others - getting the BCM updated will not likely solve stuck and corrupted APIM or TCU modules where the 1.7.1 update was responsible. So if others are in a similar position with blocked PowerUp maybe ask the garage to update the BCM. Nothing to lose trying I guess
