Yes, they are both yellow and have 4 wheels and 4 doors.

Outside of that, I really can't see anyone saying that the MME looks alot like an Aztec.

Point taken.:)

It sounds like you did your math and came out on the "good end" compared to some of our counterparts here on the forum that paid ADM's. Unless one is getting the full tax credit, I think the 2023's are way too high. I think the ADM's will drop with many dealers and EV's will need to level off here shortly. At the cost they are now, it really is a novelty and not a cost savings option IMHO.
Now with the new IRS delay on tax credits - my incoming '23 MME Premium will now drop to $39K net cost after the $7500 tax credit for early 2023 delivery, $6000 PCO, $2000 state rebate, $1000 Ford credit.

I'm not sure if I could drive around in a car that had those lips. Is it just me or once you see the front bumper is actually a pair of lips you cannot unsee it?

For me I was comparing MY performance versus GT performance. The looks got me, I just can't deal with the way the MY looks. I'm pleased with my decision, and I know the pros of the MY, and the cons of the MME GT but I'm still pleased with My decision. I'm happy to see competition as I know people cross shopping is based on price and don't care about anything else. I think it benefits EVs in general, and promote their adoption.

I thought Teslas all look like a catfish from the front.

That works too, but to me it's the lips, I just can't unsee it, especially when it's in a color. White black aren't too bad, but the blue lips and the red lips.

Yes, assuming that one qualifies for that you should be good to go. I, on the other hand will not be able to capture that if I were to purchase a 2023 in 2023. I would receive zero tax credit and I would effectively be paying around $8,000 more for the 23 model than the 22 model that I purchased and if you throw in the lack of tax credit, that would make my purchase close to $16,000 more for the 23 than the 22. I would not be buying an MME if I could not have purchased it in 2022.

Once again, you are in a totally different scenario and if you are able to pay cash for the deal, I would say go for it. ?

And that diagonal crease in the doors looks like it ran into a guardrail or something. Just looks odd to me.

Is it my imagination that all Model 3 have sold out just this week?

Did the $7500 really make people jump on them ?

Last week, there were many available for immediate delivery but this week, I see 2 LR M3 within my area....

I never could place it but yes that's pretty much it. I always thought hmmm all these Teslas look like something goofy from the front, kind of like a pokemon or something...

I still remember the first Aztek that saw. It was a black one when I was in Chicago on my way to Todai for a late dinner. How do I still remember? Aztek was beautiful. However, was ahead of it's time. The front lights look similar too many new cars today. The lift gate does look similar to Mach E lift gate. No wonder, I bought a Mach E and another. Aztek seems to be a better design. The lift gate spoiler of Mach E is cool but it just another part that could create leak spots. MY also does not have a lift gate spoiler which is actually a good thing.

Ionic 5 looks very futuristic. Only time will tell how the design is holding up. The crease on the side definitely an interesting design. It might be good for city driving since it has been pre-ding from the factory.

You totally lost me when you said the Aztec was beautiful.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but IMO, the Aztec was and still is one of the ugliest cars on the planet.

I truly believe that was the final dagger for Pontiac. The same company that made the Trans Am (one of the most iconic cars) made the Aztec as well. They went from Smokey and the Bandit to Breaking Bad. Both good movie/shows but I got to give the nod to Reynolds on this one.

If it weren’t bad enough that Tesla is run by a distracted, egotistical, super-narcissist…
That's pretty much every fortune 500 company. Most of them are fully functional psychopaths. They make the best CEOs because they're able to detach themselves from emotions when it comes to hard decisions.

With a large expense like a vehicle, I'm more willing to support such a business as they're able to execute hard decisions to keep the company around, and thus the warranty valid, and parts a plenty. It's great that people have differing opinions, that's what actual diversity is. So long as they're not harming children, freedom of thought and speech is what's gotten us this far.

The only unfortunate issue I see is that we're not able to get the same type of transparency from other social media platforms. The blurred lines between govt and media companies is something that should have never been allowed to occur.

Tesla is on the right track to further society, but damn them cars ugly.
