You should call your dealer immediately and see if you can change your order.
Would this restart my wait time? I am in the same situation but ordered 9/28 and don't want to wait another 20 weeks

If your order was scheduled as "Clean Unscheduled" and before the VIN was issued.

Once the VIN is issued, it's locked.

If your order was not scheduled then it may delay due to the major changes.

Ask your dealer to pull a VVR and COVP/ROVP reports.

Sure, right at this moment the base model Y is a better deal than an ER Mach-E. One might ask why no one is complaining that Tesla had exorbitant markups last year and yet vilifying Ford dealers for doing exactly the same thing.

Don't kid yourselves about the Tesla myths and exaggerations. Tesla's range and "tech" advantage are a fantasy, and most certainly the build quality of a Tesla is not better than any of the legacy carmakers - plenty of youtube videos available. Add to that the ridiculous lies Musk spews every year that are lapped up by the fanboys and I have no intention of ever buying anything that man's companies make. I just hope SpaceX's agile approach to rocketry doesn't kill anyone.

Makes me wonder if Chevy will lower the Blazer ev pricing before release.
I doubt it but I don’t have any insider knowledge. The fact that Chevy is going to sell the more expensive versions of the Blazer EV first makes me doubt that they’ll lower the price.

Their website indicates that the lower priced Blazer EV isn’t due until 2024….I think.

Don't forget car sickness the MY and M3 produces.
Very nauseating drive if you are a passenger as experienced by my wife and I in our friends' M3 and MY.

However Tesla's Model S and X do not have that issue - why ?

Funny.. My wife is OK in my friend's Model Y, but WILL NOT get into her Model X! Says it rattles her kidneys..

Agree with you!

I don't have range anxiety since I have driven EV for over 5 years.

Tesla's 330 mile claim is not realistic if not hyped up number wise.

As for Ford, they do underrate their range as I have seen with my Lightning.
My Lightning SR gets 15%-25% more range all year around (yes, even now because of the warm climate).

Can't wait for my incoming $34K Premium '23 MME !

I second you on no range anxiety, been driving an EV for 8 years, started with an 80 mile Leaf, upgraded to a 260 mile Bolt (but it still only served in second car duties), I now have a SR AWD Mach-E, I knew my range would be quite a bit less than the Bolt, but its enough for us. The Mach-E now handles 95% of my wife and my driving (I work from home), and is clearly our car 1. I do live in New England so things are closer here vs the mid west, but even when we head to Quebec in April, over the mountains of Northern Maine, I have little concern with taking the MME.

Just wishful thinking on my part, Ford lowered the Mach E price before release, and I had a Mach E ordered but still ended up getting one straight from the dealer. The most expensive SS Blazer isn't due till later iir.

Other than "build quality" which is vague, one might also be interested in drivetrain quality.

Tesla Model Y has a 8 year / 120,000 mile drivetrain warranty.

Ford Mach E has a 5 year / 60,000 mile drivetrain warranty.

Ford also had issues with high voltage contacts and had to recall 50,000 Mach Es.
That's nice. Are you here for any other reason than to troll, noob?

Joined yesterday, don't own a Mach-E, 2 posts, both pro-Tesla.

? Yikes. They can't even manage to get a single extended range AWD vehicle under $55k. Tesla is going to absolutely murder Ford sales in cold weather markets. A standard range AWD MME will get like 100 miles of range on a full charge here in Minnesota. ?
I'm in the Twin Cities. If you're getting 100 miles on Standard Range you're doing something wrong.

Look at how many buyers there are in Minnesota (15k vs. 563k in CA):
https://afdc.energy.gov/data/10962

Add CA, FL, TX, WA and you pretty much have more EVs than every single other state combined.

Range is important, but honestly, a lot of folks won't use them for long trips because even if you had long range, the charging network isn't that good. Take the ICE if you have one. Stop for 5 minutes, faster than supercharging or Korean brands too.
The charging network here in Minnesota is actually pretty good. For those familiar with the region, a friend went from the Twin Cities, north to the rural "Iron Range" (about a 3-hour drive, one-way) just a few weeks ago in the dead of winter. He made it there and back with no problem. Planned ahead and found easily accessible and reliable charging on the way and at his rural destination.

Thanks for helping me make my point. Ford, unfortunately, will lose market share to Minnesota residents that want enough range to get them from one city to the next or from "The Twin Cities" to their friends lake house. The standard range MME doesn't offer enough juice to get a city slicker up to their cabin family. The tesla does.
I live in Minnesota, too, and know this to be absolutely not true. My friend owns an MME and drives it to his cabin regularly to go ice fishing with no issue. His experience is in large part why I'm getting one for myself.

A cabin in the boundary water area and a cabin an hour from the cities are not the same comparison

Are there even on the lot Lightnings? Would be awesome to pick up a base one at MSRP ~$40k, but those were probably rarely built early on. :)
Atlas Blue Lariat at roughly 95K is available right now. DM me and I'll send you the details. I don't think you'll find a Pro for sale at the bottom end price.
