I love it. My 5.0 has been sitting in the carport more and more because the MME GT is so much fun to drive. I even take it to the airstrip to race it every few weeks. Yeah, I’ve gotten accustomed to the 5 sec nonsense and hope there’s a fix for that soon.
I hated how the MYP required interaction with the main screen for EVERYTHING. Wanna change the vent angle? Find the screen “button” - I appreciate all of the MME knobs and real buttons.

the tech side iswhere the MME falls flat for me with theseOTAs tho. My goodness 3.6.2 is maddening. I’m literally, right now, sitting in the car on a level 2 ChargePoint to try to get the LVB to 95% to do this OTA. 92% so far… almost there…….
do I need to charge to 95% just to help push an update? didn't know that. but lmk and I sure will try that to see if it helps

OP, I know this probably doesn't fix the underlying issue of your OTA not getting installed, but I am more than happy to update your car with FDRS, if you'd like.
Hi there. Happy to try. now how do we do this? LOL

The AGM batteries are set to charge to 80%. You can't charge your 12v via the high voltage charging system. It's only charged by the DC-DC converter when the 12v's BMS indicates it needs charge. The funny thing is that APIM(sync) update via USB is done with the vehicle running and the voltage is ~13.5v

I already applied the update to mine. I'd need another MME that's not updated to generate the security certificate to send you the file w/ your vin's security cert. so you can self-install.

Both the GWM and APIM can be updated via USB. By entering your VIN into FDRS and then connecting to another vehicle that isn't updated, FDRS will generate the cert for your car. I can try and generate one, what's the vin?

I used to be able to toggle to turn automatic updates on and off and schedule. Now that option is completely gone from my screen. Been stuck on 3.6.1 since October. Dealership can't see my system on their backend to even push an update through. Ford OTA customer service can't seem to figure out what's what. Dealership needs to call TAC Assistance and they said it could takes weeks before they hear back.
Anyone on here experience this? If I could just get the option to toggle and schedule updates, maybe it'll update but no one can tell why that functionality is gone.

I do my updates with FDRS because the OTA process adds a whole new level to Dante's inferno.

So I don't rely on anything in the scheduled updates section of Sync when I see it. Case in point, I was poking around trying to figure out why my car drops itself out of Unbridle mode roughly once a day now (started last week) and came upon the OTA menu today:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Help! Not getting OTA, Ford OTA can't see my system,Dealership can't either. OTA_Schedul

This is the second time in a month that I've seen that either my Automatic updates were completely turned off, or something like above where I have in fact set a schedule but something has reset it to "None" instead of where I had it set. I have no idea where these settings are coming from. Just glad I have FDRS.

not the high voltage battery
- the low voltage battery has to be over 95% for 3.6.2 specifically…

You really like the Mach-E more? Tbh after a year of ownership I have never had buyers regret more.

The Mach-E to me has been a giant let down. I put a huge down payment on the car though so the numbers don’t work for me to trade it in.

so now I’m just waiting for the tech to catch up meanwhile I haven’t gotten an update since last October. (3.6.1)
Strange, you and I are in exactly the same boat. It took me about 2 weeks and throwing more money at the already over priced car in hopes it'd start being better. Which in it's self is really ridiculous. My 10 year old Compliance Focus EV is nearly better to drive with 90k on the clock. The only reason I havn't totally shitcanned this car is it's 'value' took a total dive, well, 2 days after I bought it. And my wife would be able to say she told me so. I pushed for this car. She pretty much hates it in every way. But who cares right? Long as I'm happy. If I was happy. Do you sigh every time you fire it up? I feel a roulette wheel of disappointment which is only amplified by being tossed about attempting to drive down the street listening to all the rattles, wind noise and clanks. This OTA thing is only a sliver of annoyance that I've been heeping on myself by attempting to fix the stuff that should never have been. The only other vehicle I've bought that made me feel like this was a brand new ZQ8 S10 extracab. That was in the shop before I even got off the lot with it (pre lemon law days, or I was too young to try to get them to take it back. lost 50% what i paid on that truck less than 6 months later 4 of which were drivable months.) This is starting to feel like that all over again. Maybe the GT's are where it's actually at. Or maybe Ford will never get these updates right. FFS they're on Sync4 and it's 2023. Everything OTA's, except Fords.

I am not trying to be argumentative but I watch my 12V LVB SOC on CarScanner go up as it sits on the ChargePoint. It went from 90 to 95% with about 22% HVB on the ChargePoint.

It splashed a screen that said “preparing update” which is further than I’ve gotten before so, fingers crossed

Your car is on, thus the DC-DC is running. If your car was off, the DC-DC would be off. The DC-DC is like an alternator that runs in either key-on mode. It's not the charger, it's the fact you've got the 'alternator' running.

To see where you LV battery is actually at, you have to check its voltage. You don't know if that displayed SOC is the percentage of set point, or the actual battery percentage.

Similar to how your car may say the HVB is at 100% when in-fact it's missing the upper portion that's walled off. What's the battery's resting voltage?

Same here, my Backup Start Code vanished recently as well. Might want to check yours.

I had the same problem that Dealer couldn't see my car's information for 2 months, until I found that it was because my Android phone was set to English language even thought I'm Finnish, so the fordpass app always redirected me to Ford.com, as it should had to connect to Ford.fi.
That was a pain to found out that it was the problem. I had to make like 4 other ford accounts until I found the problem. :D

Anyway it could be or not the reason for OP if he created the account at wrong website.

I would greatly appreciate if I can get help from you. That usb file. :) I probably don't even have 2.4.3 with IPC updated.
My VIN is: WF0TK3SU4MMA40184
FDRS probably can identify it as european vehicle and make it as compatible?

You do show an IPC update in your available software list. Your car is way behind on updates. I've sent you a list in a direct message. No one with FDRS can send you the files for a USB drive. That's not how FDRS works. You have to be connected directly to the car for FDRS to generate the security certificate to allow the car to read the files from the USB drive.

That's not true. There's someone doing it for F150 sync 4. How he's doing it I'm not sure of, but I'll try.

Just got mine back from my dealer who did the HVAC and weld recall patches and was hoping it would get me up to speed, nope, but I got a message in my message center today that I'm on 2.7.3 which is where I think I already was as nothing really looks different. What the hell Ford? It baffles me that a company so large and old is so bad at this.
