Thanks, Mike.
Sounds like I’ll be making an appointment ASAP while I’ve got a case open with Ford/BES. At least helps sanity check the fact that things are out of spec on my side.
Once your PCM update is done, a GWM update will likely show up. Once it's done the APIM update will show. Your car hasn't been updated in a minute!

There’s not anything I can do to trigger that before going into the dealer tomorrow, is there? Pull a fuse or anything?

so strange that it ignored those and still applied 3.6.2->4.1.3

Some of those are TSBs -- the tech might update most of them as they're pretty fast. The PCM update kicks off several of them. Might toss a note in the car. They play with updates so they're aware of their speed -- it's what they do.

One trick to get the tech to see stuff is to put it over the OBD port. The service guys will drive / move the vehicles, only the tech will go to the OBD port though ;)

You, sir, are awesome. Much appreciation to you, Mike G and the community here.
Service appointment scheduled for tomorrow morning - maybe I bring some donuts for the tech and service guys there… will report back here! ???

Service manager at the dealership claimed the updates showed applied overnight OTA. I ran through the last y’all provided me and he didn’t seem inclined to even get it into the bay. Said I could leave it there for a few days and they’d check it when they got a chance. Seems odd so I took it back home and will keep an eye on things over the next week.

Thanks again gents!

Interesting. I really appreciate you looking at my info. The rep from FMC that called me said I had "high voltage" and "battery" issues. I asked if it was the known battery junction box issue and she either said yes, or something very close to it (i just can't remember). But she did accurately describe what could happen with a subsequent SVS or SSN. Luckily, she was able to line up a service appointment and loaner/rental pickup tomorrow morning, so ... we shall see!
I'm expecting to be told my vehicle is ready for pickup in the next day or so. The service advisor told me they'd be doing module updates to address a number of TSBs and SSMs. Could someone re-run my VIN (3FMTK1SSXMMA40855) to see (a) what they've done and if (b) there's anything left?

Thanks!

Just refreshed the FDRS cache and your update list is still close to what it was.
Not showing any activity of note under your vin either.

So called the dealer and asked them to check the OTA Dashboard. At first they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. After explaining again the service advisor said my latest update (4.1.1-4.1.2) failed. I have no indication of this in the car or FordPass. Any idea what’s really going on? I hope I’m not stuck again. Thanks

Hi.
I have an issue with a car not receiving OTA updates (at least in a timely manner). It has been at the dealer for looking into this, but they said they could not find anything wrong with the OTA-related modules. I then made contact with Ford, that claim to have looked into things for my car and recommended to update the GWM. Reaching back to the dealer, they claim they did just that three weeks ago, and understand nothing of the Ford reply.
Now, it may just happen that the GWM update has showed up in the meantime, but they are not particularly happy about servicing my car again so soon.

If anyone with FDRS could possibly have the time to look up my VIN
WF0TK3SUXMMA16925
to see what updates are available I would be very, very grateful.

Kind regards,
Idar

You're surprising more up to date than most EU cars

Well 4.1.1 is a gateway. Your gateway software is currently "-HKD" so that's before the 4.1.1 update from what I've seen. Normally OTA 4.1.1 results in a gateway with a "-LAD" extension. A gateway update isn't in your list, but the APIM is. ?

Somebody might have to connect to the car with FDRS to see if a network scan changes the situation.

You need to get that GWM (gateway) module updated before things will start happening for you. When your car was in on the 17th they had problems updating your gateway and it is very much one of the modules involved with OTAs. It did not get updated when the car was in the shop on the 17th and you still have that update showing in your list:

I would call the service advisor and ask them to explain to you what happened when programming was attempted on the gateway on the 17th. I hope they told you the truth.

I've checked the session logs going back to 23 Jan and zero programming has taken place.

They did do a lot of reading up on diagnostic codes in PTS, and they did actually connect FDRS up to your car on the 25th, but they didn't do any programming.

Here's the list of updates still available:

That GWM (gateway) update is the one that is PowerUp 4.1.3 whenever that shows up for you.

Thanks for checking. They haven't told me the car is ready yet, just "later this week", so there's still a chance they'll do these before Friday. I at least have some ammo on hand if they call me this morning to say the car is ready ?

They need to do that GWM before anything else.
