Thanks; understand but there should be a safety factor of 10 15 degrees in that warning ? Needs to be plugged in at that temp no? I wonder if it is plugged in before it drops below -30 if it is OK? Any opinion for a 14-50 charger with components rated for lower temps?

Honestly the best solution is to just move someplace warmer. Don't have to shovel sun. ?

But then where would me and my husky snowshoe for all those month? No problem with seasons and a lot of land. I admit their is a bit of a difference in the way I look at EV's due to those seasons. I have a 6' wide snow blower behind a 52 hp Massey; not too much shoveling going on ?

We call them snowbirds; who knows maybe one day. I think this year the agenda will be snowshoeing from the back door.

If you're going down a long hill, you'd have to keep your foot on the accelerator the whole time if you have 1-pedal driving enabled. This is the use case for L.

That's fine. I imagine we'd get used to it and find the "spot" where the regen and speed were balanced enough to keep speed steady.

If it's a REALLY steep and long hill, I bet you'd still need to use the brakes to prevent speeding up.

Anyone have further info on BRAKE COACH. Another interesting toy/gadget.

Probably the same thing as the C-Max. Every time you brake it shows a percentage. 100% would be most regen captured, lower numbers mean more involvement from the friction brakes due to heavier braking.

Your link did not work for me; fire-walled, vpn'd? I did install the app and used the VIN my dealer gave me (2x with uninstall)? No joy (nothing), bad VIN, not Canada yet, my bad?

Thanks; I will check out Grizzle. I have snapped extension cords in half and know not all coatings are equal when it comes to block heater extensions cords. Especially when you want to wind them up before leaving.

WARNING: Do not use Ford Mobile Charger in severe rain, snow or electrical storm.

I will wait to see what comes with the vehicle and look into grizzle for sure .

Grizzl-e is what I ordered. They also offer a version with the premium cable for a few bucks more. It is specifically for cold weather and help with the stiffness.
