Thank you Mike, any idea on how long it will take before the car recognizes the USB drive and start the update?Well the APIM is USB so no powersupply really needed if you let the car run for 15 minutes before doing the update (to get the 12V battery back up above 80%). That HVAC will take you something like 5 min. (CAN buss programming). You would use the PS for that one.
It could be up to 10 minutes (with the driver’s door open). ??Thank you Mike, any idea on how long it will take before the car recognizes the USB drive and start the update?
Thank you, I tried doing it earlier, but as soon as I plugged the USB drive in, I got an error message that the drive is incompatible and to unplug it almost instantly " 32 GB USB 3.0 drive, exfat" , weird. So I am now trying with an older USB 2.0 drive to see if it will work.It could be up to 10 minutes (with the driver’s door open). ??
And yet you have another GWM, and the new HVAC everybody got this week.I just received 4.2.2 OTA on my 2022. It includes Sync v713 FYI. I should be completely update to date now. 3FMTK3SU9NMA41574
Some drives have a hidden partition for encrypting the drive contents and that screws things up.Thank you, I tried doing it earlier, but as soon as I plugged the USB drive in, I got an error message that the drive is incompatible and to unplug it almost instantly " 32 GB USB 3.0 drive, exfat" , weird.
