23 here. Just got camera update yesterday after getting home. Nice feature. FP has same message about update, new game, camera etc but car screen doesn’t show anything about updates other than none available. Only 1.5 months old so still learning new things but one thing I haven’t noticed until after the update was a new tone/sound/jingle when I turn off car get out and open the lift gate from the outside. Thought I left it turned on or left key inside.

No so far the triple 2s update seems to be for the 23s at this time.

Have never seen this "drive mode unavailable" thing. I do seem to have fairly frequent (once per hour of driving?) errors with sensors not being available (outside sensors), shows up as errors in canbus, thinking of taking the car to a dealer for whatever little magic they do. Or maybe we'll see how it goes with the new release.

of course you're right, but perhaps the gaming team might be able to ship things faster?

Can we move the gaming team over to the 2021 Job 1 Frunk button and while they are at it throw them on the trunk button on the top next to the camera button. Both of which I don't have because I am still on the old sync software but when that magic day happens, and I get the new sync over the air would be nice to see a truck button too. One can dream!

For those who got the 4.2.2.2 update on their 2023 MMEs and you have confirmed that the camera button is there now: what do you see when you go to the Software Updates screen? Do you see info about the recent update, or do you see "Update not available" still, with no additional info about what was installed last?

I see no info about any updates that were recently installed.
In the General screen, there is About Sync status that shows me that SYNC version was updated from what I had before.

I can also see in FP app the latest update was sent. I saw some screenshots from other owners where their car screen showed the update notes, so I'm curious if 2023s see it too

Same for me. I received 4.2.2.2 this morning. FordPass had all the update details, but they do not appear in the vehicle. I do have the camera button now and updated Sync version 23031 Revision 713.

The previous update about a week ago (4.2.1?) also did not show any notification in the vehicle.

Same. I also got "drive mode unavailable" today, so that hasn't been fixed yet.

Just got 4.2.1 so now we see if I get 4.2.2.2 or if it will do 4.2.2 first. Fingers crossed!

It seems like only ‘23 models are getting 4.2.2.2 while everybody else gets 4.2.2. Nobody has reported any difference in user experience between the two.

I got a second round of 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 after getting them several weeks ago.. not sure why it double dipped on those two, guess it was so nice I needed it twice.

I'll double check tonight (in the middle of debugging LVB system right now so don't want to wake the car up), but it went from Rev 5xx to 7xx

Both, actually. I got 4.2.1 a second time in the car only. Then I got 4.2.2 a second time in the car and in the app.

These are from last week but got them probably 2 or so months ago.

So what is your Sync version now? Still 713?

4.2.2.2 is the first Sync revision for 2023 models to date. They were delivered with 592 and are now updating to 713.

Same here. The first message a couple days ago stated that although this update was pushed out earlier it was pushed out again to ensure that all features were installed. The second message today included the new games. Perhaps this second message just took longer to appear?! But, I definitely did not see a description of the new games previously.

Related topic. I wish Ford would allow us to delete these messages. The Ford Pass app shows the "vehicle alert" for several days. I don't know if it indicates a new alert or an alert that I already read. Frustrating.

Quick note: I scheduled a service appointment with Ford service April 6 to investigate this issue. Will post update if I learn anything that explains or resolves this issue.
