Perhaps a little training on how to use FORSCAN? Maybe you have it somewhere else, and I haven't run across yet, thanks.
Well it's been around for like more than ten years now, and I've only used it on and off to tweak 'hidden' settings that were not exposed in the vehicle's user interfaces. That's where it shines really.

FORSCAN basics are covered here by the legendary Livnitup.

Get free version. Sign up for free trial two month extended license. Connect with your existing laptop and the Mongoose if you have one or another recommended adapter like the OBDLink MX+ (BlueTooth is the one I use). The cabled version would work as well I understand.

The rest of the actual programming stuff should be in the tutorial he provides. You'll need the current spreadsheet for the model and year of your car/truck.

Thanks, I’ll give it a try! I have the wireless dongle too so not to much expense!

I applied the HVAC and door module updates yesterday morning, which were uneventful. But FordPass has been showing that the car is in deep sleep mode ever since. I've driven the car several times since then, so it's clearly not. Hopefully, it will resolve itself.

I actually have an even older laptop I use with FORSCAN and OBDLink MX+. But I have used the Mongoose cable with my FORSCAN laptop and does just fine..in fact it's 'overkill' really. They both work equally as well with FORSCAN.
I tried to download the newest FORScan .52. My laptop wouldn’t allow it, some kind of trust issue. I used .51 which I already had and ford must of correct the previous issues because all my modules showed up. Need to signup and I’m going to do the headlights and power meter.

I ran into the trust issue but told it to run anyway. Select the file in your downloads section and "Run as Administrator"...then when this shows up:

Click the More Info link and then because you know what you're doing and "Windows isn't the boss of you" select "Run Anyway". And then get down with your bad self.

Do you have any links to spreadsheets for the 2021 Mustang Mach-E Premium for Forscan?

Yesterday, I've successfully updated all modules with FDRS, greetz for your help.
now, I have Sync 4 version is 22192 Rev 498. I guess last one for European cars.
My range seems extended => different algorithm ?
Charged at 84%, it showed 278 km before updates and 421 km after updates which should be more closed of what my car is supposed to have.
Unfortunately, after a test, my range decrease very quickly.
For example, today I've done a short trip of 46 km and I lost 112km in my range (2,5x more). I drove not aggressive.
Do you know if the car need to be re-calibrated ?

So what happens is when the PCM gets updated all the history is dumped and it starts the estimate process all over again. So after you drive for a while it will relearn and narrow down what your true estimate should be.

There is only the '23 model spreadsheet. I'm sure many of the settings would carry over.

Did all the updates just now and i got the "Stop safely now" message. I just ignored it, thanks to the previous experiences here and waited 5 minutes. After that the error was gone.

All flashing went fine, including the (latest?) GWM

Still no new Sync4....

No need. It's fine today. This isn't something I would go to the dealership for anyway. This probably isn't a thread where you'll get a lot of takers.

I don't know if I have simply never noticed this before ...after installing the March 2023 FDRS updates I now have this Mach E silhouette appear very briefly, in the dashboard screen right above the left end of the battery charge line... the car silhouette appears after the galloping pony display goes away, and it in turn disappears within seconds.

I find it a kind of cute image.

Anyone else see this silhouette after the updates? or maybe also before the updates?

On that note, what does Ford think about customers doing their own programming? I wouldn't trust a dealership let alone them going to the lengths that we do on this thread. Does Ford have an official position? I know dealerships aren't happy about it when you tell them my car is up to date sorry, no thanks! Plus, if we do the recall programming it's not credited to the vehicle as being completed, which sucks too!
