If it's Mach-E based I don't understand why it would only/primarily(?) be for Europe.

It might be that this is just a mildly spicy Shelby for Europe and there will be an even spicer one for the US at some point. Or maybe they are launching in Europe just to be different and this one will also be in the US.

EV adoption is way ahead in Europe vs the US. Could just be wanting to release first in the market with better EV acceptance.

Wow they need to fire the audio engineer for this stream. Plosives galore, audio loudness all over the place, etc. Was this originally supposed to be a compliance event, then later upgraded to something more, but half-assed? ?

It might be that this is just a mildly spicy stickered Shelby for Europe and there will be an even spicer more stickered one for the US at some point. Or maybe they are launching in Europe just to be different and this one will also be in the US.
Fixed it for ya.

Hopefully it doesn't come here. We'd all have to act like they bought 'the specialest MME evah' while they post Insta pics all over this forum.

I'm pretty sure its launching there because of all the neg. USA blow back about the mustang name on social media, Gary Patterson's way of saying that if Americans don't like it, then he bets Europeans will. Only making 100 for 23 and offering them only in Europe. Wish I could get one, it will be a great investment for the lucky few.

I actually don't mind it. I think it looks cool with that hood and lower fascia.

I personally would delete the stripe going down the side and I think it would look more subtle and less gawdy.

I don't think many on this forum would mind the decals, if Shelby unleashed an unrestrained beast of torque and horsepower in their MME. They would be badges of honour.

Too bad the power handling stuff in the car can’t handle any more than we can put through it for 5 seconds. ??

Dear Shelby, please re-consider.

First off, the awesome GT500 sounds, the up-shifts, the down-shifts. Cool? Sure. Once, maybe. But the MME is technologically way ahead of the 500. An EV making sounds like an ICE machine is like teaching a wolf to bark like a dog or putting a 5 1/4" floppy drive on my new tablet. You don't see 'em shooting flumes of diesel smoke out of the Shanghai Maglev.

There is no noise associated with an EV and no real need to add it. Let the driver who want the Dukes of Hazzard horn install it themself. Motor sounds on the MME feels gimmicky. If we need sound for some legit purpose, such as warning pedestrians, there are better sounds suited for an EV. If I want to sound like a Harley with an aftermaket exhaust, then dangit, I'll buy a Harley and an aftermarket exhaust!

You wanna do cool stuff with a cool car? Figure out how to make it quicker before all else. The MME is quick, for sure, but a Shelby badge should bury the Tesla Plaid. A company with 60 years of racing dominance shouldn't risk the Shelby log on a car if it can't compete with a vehicle debuted ten years ago, and by a company with limited or no racing experience.

Once you can own the competition 0-60 + quarter mile, eliminate the 5 second power trip, and find a higher top end more in line with sports cars. To top it off, offer us a 500 mile range.

Think fusion energy or Stealth Bomber if you must have a callback to some technology. Don't get stuck serenading old memories laced with gasoline fumes.

Please, get it right before you badge the MME.
