As the title says, has anyone made or found a product that can indicate we have the GT Performance Edition MME? Maybe aftermarket emblems or decals to add somewhere to the exterior (side, back, etc.)? I know this is not for all but this seems to be one of the few performance oriented cars out there that really doesn't give any extra indication that it is (yes I now GT is on the back but no PE GT, etc. etc....)

Never seen one actually made. There's been previous conversations about it:

Anyone who knows the MachE just looks for the wheels to tell if it's a GT or GTPE.

If you're really desperate for an additional badge, I guess you could get this: https://www.dmb.uk.com/prod/performance-edition-gel-badge

Thanks for the info. I have seen some of those in the past as well... so looks like nothing new has come out. Performance written in the GT letters on the back is not worth the effort (two small). But I like the idea of replacing Mach E emblems on the door with GT. For some reason I am also digging some kind of hood decal in the center. Just to give it some more pop.

I and others have done this. I just copied the placement of the Chinese GT.

Definitely a cleaner look IMO.

How funny and strange!

I believe Porsche offers a “clean” (de-badged) car as an extra cost option.

And some of us go to the trouble of de-badging our cars for a cleaner look and/or to get all that cheesy dirt-catching plastic glued-on lettering off the beautiful and smooth painted surfaces … and yet here’s someone who actually wants to add more of it! ??

What is the owner psychology of wanting or needing to advertise exactly what options or features the car has!? (Anyone old enough to remember when some cars boasted an “automatic” badge?)

Once you own a car, you don’t need glued-on plastic signs to remember what attributes or features it has, right? So I have to guess it’s to somehow either insecurely brag or to ellicit the approval (or jealousy) of onlookers? ?

For those of us who buy cars solely to please ourselves, we know what we’ve got and just using and enjoying the car is all we need or want. ?‍♂

How about color of the badge?

Bentley goes with colors to distinguish the high end versus the low end.

For example the Continental GTC W12 has a black badge insert versus the lowly V8 version which has the green background.

Where did you put yours? On the doors?
I don't have these, just was googling around and saw them. Definitely a vintage type emblem but like the black style vs the traditional one which is silver, blue, and red. If I had one of those I'd probably put it on the lower right hand corner of the lift gate.

I do have the GT logos for the doors in one of the earlier pictures, but I haven't even felt like putting those on.

Thanks, looks great! I am curious where you got the GT emblem for yours. Just want to be sure of quality as I have found a few versions floating around.

I guess that is your opinion that its "strange", but guess what not all of us think exactly like you... TBH, the GTPE is rather rare around here and I paid a lot of extra money for it. Most people think it is a standard Mach E and have no idea what kind of performance is behind the skin (or that it is even available). I am kind of tired of explaining it. Does that make me a bragger, I personally don't think so. I look at it as I am a "car guy" that is into performance over range or cost of fuel. But you are welcome to believe what you want if it makes you feel better.

BTW, I have been on both sides of the badge or debadge camp as my first "performance" oriented car I did debadge it. It seemed like it was all the rage back then. But that was also 15 years ago and times and people change.

Finally, I would like to know the "psychology" of people like yourself that have nothing to add to a post other than belittle the posters. If you don't have any advice, what do you gain by calling others out that dont think like you? I bet you also love to call out all your "former" friends on FB and other social media for not following your righteous path.

Why don’t you just put the new car sticker back on the window?

Our friends at AOSK are selling the actual Ford door emblem for the CN version of the GT. ??

Oh, so it’s because you get “tired of explaining” to people that fail to recognize that you’re not just driving an ordinary Mach-E after spending ”a lot extra” for it. That would really suck if you wanted onlookers to know. Probably why all the “4x4” and PowerStroke and engine displacement badges are so popular on trucks … helps owners avoid such tiresome explanatory drudgery.

I would’ve never guessed that because I don’t really care or worry what other people think as long as I’m happy with what I’ve got … so I’m glad I asked!
