Do you think a trickle charger will help Like C Tek?
C Tek chargers are okay, but I don't like that they completely shut off after charging is done. In that category I like BatteryMINDer chargers better for doing battery reconditioning.

It doesn't even appear to be my problem this time. I just checked my 12V SOC with Car Scanner and it's 97%. I've now failed to install 4.2.6 twice tonight. Let me know if you are up for taking a look at my error codes again. Appreciate any insight into what could be going on this time.

Today I confirmed this is active in my car. When starting the car at 100%, it indicated 252 miles of range. I entered the destination and hit start - still 252 miles of range. After driving for a couple minutes, range dropped to 225 miles. It worked!

After the range dropped, I checked the charge at destination:

About a third of the way into the trip it made a big adjustment, I assume based on my speed for the first third.

I arrived at my destination with 37% remaining.

This is a huge improvement over the way it used to work. Great job, Ford!
I literally entered my Home a mile from my house and dropped the same as yours. I since haven't entered a destination and its keeping the 225 mile range at 90% which I'm actually good with. I rather have it accurate. Will this stay now unless I enter a new address in NAV? I never use factory NAV.

Non-EA 2021, got this update yesterday. Wanted to share something interesting I haven't seen mentioned... [Note: I also previously got the customer satisfaction update since I last charged, so not sure which update caused this]

My home charging (ChargePoint Home Flex) graphs prior to this update have always been a nice flat 11kW, but last night there were regular rate dips. Check out the comparison pics.

Plugged in at 9:52 and the dips all registered on ChargePoint's logs (which seem to update every 5-10 mins) at 10:32, 11:02, 12:02, 1:02, 1:37, and 2:02.

Previous charge session of similar-ish length:

Last night's charge session:

All the dips go down to 7.3kW except for the single larger one which was 6.4kW.
Mne went just the opposite. I was getting the drops last month, before the updates, now it is charging at a steady rate of 10.7 kw

Interesting and ridiculous at the same time. So is it really taking the route into account, or doing something else that makes you think it is? A one mile trip should not impact the range at 90%, right? Maybe it ignores driving history unless you are using the Nav. If that is what it is doing, then maybe it is a good approach. Maybe.

Just noticed the notification I had a new update ready. Decided to try the "Update Now" from home. It finished charging last night but was still plugged into my ChargePoint Home Flex. Took about 35 minutes and I got the notification it was successful.

I need to drive down to Portland and back tomorrow, about a 450 mile round trip, with a DC fast charge mid trip, so it will be interesting to see if there are any differences.

Definitely have to keep an eye on it as Its only been a day since update. My guess is it instantly starts with driving history, which is why it dropped soon after I entered a destination. Then may adjust from there for a given destination.

Turn the car off and let it sit for about 15 minutes. I bet when you turn it back on, all will be back to normal. These glitches are usually not permanent.

4.2.6 failed three or four times. Mid-year 2022 premium AWD ER. I typically park in a garage on 6th floor with no Wi-Fi signal. Yesterday I drove two hours to Milwaukee and DCFC upon arrival. Then parked the car near the AirBnB house (street parking) and connected it to Wi-Fi. It installed on first try with no issues. Range increased immediately on FordPass from 203 to 234 with 82% SoC.
