My grandpa passed away in 92 at age 92 and did not have running water. In 1973 my dad got out of the Navy and me and my 9 siblings lived with my grandparents for 3 months using honey buckets and an out house. So I know just what you speak of!
I was curious so I looked it up.

Apparently this is more common in the US than I thought. About 1.5 million without running water.

0.4% of the country pales in comparison to about 26% of the rest of the world without running water of course.

I highly recommend everyone get a new phone. My Samsung S23 Ultra is perfect with PaaK. It works exactly like my fob. PaaK on my old phone was so horrible I gave up and started carrying a fob. Now I am back to 100% Paak, and it is literally perfect.
Glad to hear it. Was it was the new Customer Satisfaction Program update that fixed your PAAK? Or was it the new phone?

I use two ancient phones, each around 5 years old, an Android and an iPhone, and have had no PAAK problems at all since the 21P22 Field Service Action software calibration last year. Prior to that, PAAK was very spotty.

Seems the whole phone as key thing is complicated...

I still have PaaK set up on my old phone and it still sucks. It is possible the update was more beneficial for newer phones. My old phone isn't that old, but but is a few generations behind. (Samsung Note 9.)

I bet if you get the latest and greatest, your PaaK will be like new.

PAAK/2021/Job1: it seems to take one press to wake up and another 1-2 seconds later the button lights up and a second press opens it.
If I try the rear door first, it's nothing on the first and each subsequent press until I press the driver's door then both open.
Same for me and it’s worse in cold weather.

In my experience it makes no difference whether you approach the car with a key fob or your paak. The door operation is inconsistent with either but always worse when it’s cold outside

The consistency of reports of inconcistency seems to me to point to the car's sensors going too asleep.

Well for my 2021 GT job to car I push the button and I wait as the car seems to be on break. Then I push it again and then a noise happens again and then the door finally opens

I don't use PAAK, but have the same problem opening the rear doors
