I would wait until the production key is released because I have also seeing this one with both Front and rear buttons included..So I would think the Mach E will come with both? Still you can do it all from your phone too.

That's what the remote in the manual looks like, although it doesn't describe the frunk open button - which makes sense since it is disabled initially:

My brother had a 1972 Mercury Cougar that had sequential tail lights. I never discoveted how that worked, although I built a test circuit using a UJT (electronic fans know what a UJT is) as a timer to switch on each bulb in the sequence. I planned to use an Arduino to add sequential lights in my 1995 Buick Regal (it had five tail lights per side) but I sold it as soon as I bought my present 2014 Fusion Hybrid.
It was a spinner with a contact that aligned to the light contacts. (I just learned this myself earlier this year.)

Kind of disappointing. But OTOH, with so much relying on proximity detection now, the fob rarely leaves the pocket. That was something that took some getting used to when we got our 2013 Escape. No longer was I fishing the fob out of the pocket all the time. And once we got out of that habit, it was hard to use the fob for anything (other than proximity).

And with PAAK, may not even be carrying the fob.

Its a one time cost of 600 that provides the features for 3 years
A one time cost for the software plus three years of service....that happens to total $600 for Mach-E owners.

We don’t yet know what the next three years of the service will cost.

Gotta draw the line on cost (thus price) somewhere. And weight. That huge battery pack is already costly and heavy.

Each extra feature is cool, but comes at a compromise.
My Lincoln MKX has it. As much as the Mach E weighs, the delta weight is negligible. The resultant loss of personalization is inexcusable. It's pissing my wife off already before we even get the car.

Kind of disappointing.
I'm hoping that very sparse fob is just what they grabbed out of the parts bin for preproduction models since they likely hadn't settled on the final version then. Considering they seemed to go out of their way to put ponies all over the car and limit the Ford oval to one small spot on the windshield, I would think the production fob will have the pony on the back like current mustangs do, and not the blue oval that's on the one we've seen. But we likely won't know until production cars start arriving somewhere.

Here is a video I just found on youtube. Giving the producer credit. It is a very nice driver view without narratives.

Really really nice video even without words. Seems like he was enjoying himself, responsibly. Efficiency early on was at 3.3, but only after 2 miles or so. Unbridled looks very responsive and he captured the best propulsion sound I have heard yet. Went from 38 to 70 mph in 4.4 sec, but did seem like he held back a little bit.

Thanks for posting!

Yeah, the acceleration was awesome.. or at least looked.

Where did you see the efficiency number? I don't recall seeing it but then again, I was mesmerized by driver view looking outside.. LOL

very nice ? great to see this content before December 15th ... also good idea he did not speak or show his face.. Ford would take him off the future press list lol..

Still very nice ? ..it reminds me of the few ride alone I did last month..

My main worry is depreciation. From what I've seen they expect 50% minimum for 3 years. Ouch! Any thoughts?
The Feds are offering to reimburse $7,500 of your ‘depreciation’. Compare the expected value to your true cost.
