Had mine replaced just 3 weeks ago- with the re-manufactured part, according to the part number on the work order. I have a '21 GTPE. I was one of those cases they refer to with no warning, and where it wouldn't start on the next key cycle. Thankfully I was home at the time. As mentioned in a prior comment, I am really looking forward to seeing the part number used under this recall. Fingers crossed it's the same part number that was put into mine 3 weeks ago.

If your car had a reman part installed I can virtually guarantee the recall P/N will be different.

Just took my Mach E in for a blown HVBJB today. I beat the rush on parts.
Got my wife’s replaced last week. I too just beat the rush. ?

Well my 21 AWD Extended range premium is on the list but I expect it to be hit.

Ford won't use the same P/N for a reman part and a new part.
The tech told me that the “remanufactured” junction boxes had more heavy duty contactors installed, hence a different part identifier than the originals (as shown in the August TSB). Obviously if they use an even better part on the recall, I’ll be on line at the dealer for that.

I wouldn't be surprised if the updated recall part is the reman part they are currently installing on failed units now.
There's no way they have enough reman parts to service 30,000 cars.
There is the possibility that people are using the term incorrectly and are actually referring to a redesigned part.

What I have assumed to date is new parts were installed and the failed HVBJB returned. The contactors were replaced and the remanufactured HVBJB’s were being sent out as replacements for failures.

My thought is that Ford knew these needed to be replaced but they were buying time to make sure the new part would fix the problem before they rolled it out to everyone. They didn't want a second recall down the road if they moved too quickly. This is a good sign that they feel they have a handle on the problem.
You’re probably right and wish that to be the case but why are 23’s still failing?

Wasn't sure I would qualify as mine got the prior fix. Shows I'm in on their website. Now we wait for the letter in the mail

I hadn't heard any mention of reman parts until this thread. ?‍♂
