Hey everyone, first time posting, long time creeping. Anyone with FDRS willing to run my Mach e GT for me? It was built in June but has not received any OTA updates since new. Trying to trouble shoot. Any updates? Any DTCs? Thanks to anyone willing to help to get me up to speed. I am part of the ford EAP but have not received any OTA regardless and it seems weird.
VIN: 3FMTK4SE4PMA56016
The only thing in your list is an APIM update to the "-EC" revision, which I think is Sync 915.

I can't see DTCs unless I'm directly connected to the car with the laptop.

Oh, and when somebody tried to update the APIM on the 19th it failed and they bailed. That was the last thing attempted. This was at 4:08 in the afternoon so close to quitting time maybe?

In fact as I looked at it again...they didn't even put in the USB drive to copy the files to. Maybe they didn't have one?

EDIT: they did the update the next morning by the look of it and I missed that the first time around.

You will have further updates after that APIM gets updated.

I know they had the car until Friday afternoon, interesting that there is actually another APIM update as well. Any guesses on why the car hasn’t received literally anything OTA and in the update drop down it just says up to date?

Do you routinely see this icon at the top row of your Sync screen to indicate that the car is talking to the cloud?

When the service advisor pulls up your VIN in PTS can they see the "Connected Vehicle" page with all the DTCs and daily reports from your car? Can they see any evidence on the OTA Dashboard that your car has gotten any OTAs in the last 60 days? (history only goes back 60 days)

Was this car in the FCTP program (a mannequin)? If so is it still assigned to a "fleet"?

Are your privacy settings in Sync set to allow data sharing with Ford?

And the car will always tell you it's up to date. The service advisor usually says the same thing as well.

Thanks Mike, I called the service center and am dropping the car off on Friday. I gave them your advise on PTS and they looked it up and found 12 DTCs that are occurring daily, something about the exterior LEDs and some other things. I’m giving them the car for two weeks and hopefully they can figure out what’s going on or what module needs to be replaced. No warning lights or anything on my end so it’s weird that they are hiding in the background but service can see that daily they are happening. Will check back with info once remedied. Thanks so much, the car has 1500 miles so it’s wild that things need replaced but every manufacturer has bugs. Hopefully this will be a speedy and thorough process. I can almost place money on it being a module or programming of some sort.

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if someone can look my VIN (3FMTK3SU3MMA36952) to see if my car still has updates for GFM and BCM. I took it to the dealer a couple weeks back, and they said they updated it. Not sure which updates they applied, but I have frunk button on the main console that does not work, and no frunk button on the FordPass app. I would really appreciate it!

9 may '21 build date, job 1 car.

Here's the list of available updates:
3FMTK3SS7MMA23801-24-Oct-23.webp

That gateway will come to you as an OTA hopefully (actually overdue a bit), and the ACM as well. The SCCM will eventually come as an OTA too as part of the BlueCruise 1.3 roll-out.

I don't think this car's had the HVJB replaced yet. But it does look like there were problems with the IPMA and from what I see it did get replaced.
This is awesome stuff. Thanks for your assistance Mike!

I figured I was behind. Hopefully these updates are pushed down...

There are some DTCS that every Mach-E from the beginning of production have everyday. And there's nothing anybody can do about it until the programmers sort out the software for the CMR, which is the rear-facing driver's camera (iNanny cam).

Every car...everyday has these and reports them to the cloud. There is a SSM that they are supposed to follow to clear the DTC...but because of the camera placement and the fact that when you turn the steering wheel it blocks the cameras view of the driver's eyes it does no good and the DTC pops up again. Just so you know.

They were less than candid, shall we say? Or somewhat economical with the truth?

I hope you didn't pay for them to do it, cause it never got done.

The tech doesn't know what's what.

The tech did run the routine in FDRS to enable the frunk softbutton in Sync...but if you don't update the the BCM and GFM...it does nothing.

They only updated the gearshifter module and the OBCC (DC fast charging controller).

Here's the rest they didn't do:

Apparently your IPC (instrument panel) was updated and now you have a new steering column update in your list.

Hi. Could someone please check VIN 3FMTK3SU3NMA41151. I got 6.4.0, but I don't have a message for 6.3.0. Are any updates missing/pending for my car? TIA!

I wouldn’t say every MME. I don’t have a nanny cam so it can’t be blocked by the steering wheel. ??

Fair enough. I forgot that some cars never came with the hardware. On the other hand...now all of them do going forward,... whether or not the owner subscribes or not.
