Very true. The few v4 dispensers (which may be connected to v3 chargers, btw) installed so far appear to have Magic Docks and CC readers. Whether the rest will is another good question. Tesla might just be using these installations to test equipment. We've seen in the past that Tesla has released a few really enticing products like the first release of the low-price Model Ys, only to pull them from the online store a few weeks later.The is no good reason to buy an adapter right now. Why not just wait it out and see how this all shakes out.
The V4 chargers are being installed with Magic Docks, screens and CC readers, so no adapter will ever be needed on those.
That's what I'm doing. I'm not about to count Elon's chickens before they're hatched.Why not just wait and see what happens next year?
