The misalignment of the panels is particularly embarrassing given Tesla's history of this. The review is here.

One thing is for sure, if one needs attention, one should get a CT. You would be the talk of the town!

C'mon folks. It's not a review. A guy spotted a prototype in the wild. Geez.
While I agree it's not a "review", if the designer takes a vehicle three weeks away from (supposed) production availability to a cars and coffee event and a journalist has the opportunity to look at and photograph it up close and personal, that's a lot more than "spotted a prototype in the wild."

He didn't take it there to show it off as a production version... it's CLEARLY not a production vehicle based on what's pointed out in the link. Let's wait until an actual production vehicle is off the line before trashing it.

Feel free to wait and I'll feel more than free to trash it. No matter whether this was the first prototype ever built or seconds away from production, frankly I think it is the ugliest vehicle I've ever seen. I'd rather drive an AMC Pacer than a CT. ? (OK, that last statement just might be a tiny bit of hyperbole?)

This isn't some test mule that someone pulled the camo off of in a garage. This is something that Tesla felt proud enough to exhibit at a public(?) event with car enthusiasts. They deserve all the roasting they get and that A-pillar is atrocious.

When they have been claiming it is IN production right now, the vehicle they showed would very likely be a first run or one of the last pre production vehicles built. Once you scale up, an argument could be made that they will be worse than what is seen now. (Since speed becomes a priority)

Personally I think they are pretty ugly, and not built to be a truck at all. They will struggle to take any of the real truck market with them.

Tesla has clearly lost the thread here, imagine the time wasted, they could have been designing an actual good looking EV that’s practical for people and get a bigger EV in the mainstream, what a waste.

Yawn. Rename this post "Test article has flaws found in test articles, a passerby's observations"
