2023 Mach-E. How to activate self park?

I have the parking button but can’t figure it out on how to get it to work.

Sorry to say that's because your car doesn't have Active Park Assist. All Mach Es since the sometime in early-ish 2022 have lacked that feature. (I have it on my GT, and honestly you're not missing much, IMO.)

I got it, never use it, you can have mine, I find with beepers, cameras etc parking is virtually already idiot-proof? ……….he says having reversed into his son’s car on the drive last year, special kind of stupid, that??‍

You likely have the prep installed in the event that you want to add it back if\when it is available

They also didn't remove the iconography molded into the inside edge of the rear hatch that shows how to use the kick to open feature.

I had one in my ct5 and never used it. Try kicking with a bag of groceries in your arms

My kick to open works about 95% of the time on the first try...
Not tried the self park feature though, we live in the burbs and don't need it.

I noticed EV Vida is selling a kick to open add-on for $99. Install looks a bit involved but they do have a detailed video on YouTube. I had it on a prior car and occasionally miss it but not sure I care to spend the time to add it back in.

Never had parking assist so I don't know what I'm missing! I wonder what sensor is missing that Ford pulled the feature?
