A lot of us didn’t.
Just like the frunk button.
Plus the car doesn't roll back and rock around like crazy when I put it in park now ?
I cant wait for this! Finally a feature.
Funny, I used to be more near the front of the wave, but now I seem to lag. Haven't gotten it yet.
Tides a turn'n
put it into park quick while still moving 1 mph. Park pawl immediately slams on, car bounces off it, THEN the brakes grab. ? They need to wait an additional second or two before the park pawl is deployed to ensure the car has stopped moving. So new software is not slam proof.
This is me a lot
  • This is how braking should have been on day 1, it finally meets my expectations.
Did you ever notice the rear brakes being laggy to let go (on any previous updates?)
Is feel to me since 6 my rear brakes are about 1/4 second late to the letting go game. I can feel the back end release. I refuse to use autohold because that was all too worse.

I also FULLY expect BC 1.3 to get pushed to 21's days before it expires in Dec.

No, not unless the parking brake was on and you step on the accelerator to release it. Now it releases when you shift to drive, and it’s released by the time you can get your foot from the brake to the gas.

Sorry, I meant in 1pd daily driving. Every time I leave a light I feel it, and i'm not jumping the pedal.

I still can't believe I haven't gotten this update yet. I've always been within the first wave of these 5.x and 6.x updates.

So there is a very slight delay for the brakes to release, I wouldn't say it's just on one axle through. I guess I compensate for it when driving. So when the light turn green, I press the pedal very gently to release brakes for 0.25 seconds, then add more pedal.

Same here, at first I figured it was due to a my driving habit changing a little, but now I'm back to it so I guess they did a little shuffle of the order.

I can find a spot in the pedal where I can hear the hold disengage with just enough pressure. If I release I can hear it hold again. Sounds like a relay but it's enough that it's letting go of the brakes. (Perhaps I'm just becoming that much more 'one' with the car that I'm noticing this.)

Big powertrain update!

Screenshot 2023-11-03 at 6.01.49 PM.png

Note: Latest versions from this update are on the left side, columns are labeled incorrectly.

22 minute inhibit update, but completed in about 11 minutes. Only used 14% of the 12V battery, impressive.

Curious if anyone else has gotten 6.6.0 in recent days? I’m suspecting they might have paused it’s rollout?

It could be the priority update that pushed this week, I do know I got 6.6.0 a week ago and nothing since then... Also no problems that I have noticed with 6.6.0
