Well I am part of the 2nd row seat engineering stay tuned ?
I hope you take a look what was done by the folks who did the Escape and Explorer second row seats. Copying the Focus/EcoSport second row seat was pretty lame ?

All I can say is that the 2nd row seats will be a tremendous upgrade from all of those current ice models

After my exp w my 2016 XC90 I have no doubt this will be the absolute best lux EV

And will be riddled with nonsense issues

Volvo dealers... Or their service techs departments are NOT ready to support EVs. They barely can service the tech in their current lineup.

You think Ford is dubious...
We owned a Volvo years ago. We were told every Volvo owner thinks Volvos are safe and reliable cars—except for theirs. It was a mistake to buy that car.

There should definitely be ventilated 2nd/3rd row seats that use negative pressure (vacuum) ventilation through a carbon filter so the front seaters don't have to smell the rear occupants. Waiting for that air to get recirculated through the cabin air filter doesn't save the front seaters.

So many EVs coming out now! A little surprised the EX90 2nd row is as cramped as it is. Seems like the EV9 might be the better choice.

That 2nd AND 3rd row is pathetic.

Kinda to be expected. This is no Suburban. 3rd rows in smaller SUVs should be considered “emergency use only,” when you kids want you to take an extra friend or two home from school.

I haven’t seen it in person, but I imagine the 7 passenger model Y is similarly cramped.

7 row Model Y should not exist. That's a compact SUV.

The EX90 is supposed to be a mid-sized SUV thats' up to $90K.

The R1S has a very usable 3rd row. Sadly that SUV doesn't have Captain's chairs.

Pricing released today. Starting at $77k which is less than the starting prices of the EQE SUV, Rivian R1S, Tesla Model X, and BMW iX. Deliveries in first half of 2024.

Still a crap ton of money for a base model Volvo SUV. Will it be over $100k loaded then? Just insane!

I think it’s going to severely struggle for sales at that price.

For a comparison, the XC90 hybrid starts at $56,000.

I can't believe how expensive 3-row EVs are, not just Volvos.
