The best part about this post is that he included the confidentiality language in the post and then the Admin's on this site feature it .... Not to mention there's already 4 other topics about it.

I think the opening statement is basically idgaf, so here it is...

I haven't received that, but I'm very curious what this quoted part means. I had to do a lot of digging (actually I just clicked on the link) and I found this:

Confidentiality

You agree to maintain the confidentiality of and not disclose any information or materials provided by Ford to you in connection with the Ford EAP.

Ok they can kick me out of early access if they want. I'm not happy they tell me I have early access to a feature that I can't use.
You don't need bluecruise to see the benefit of the new software stack. Your lane centering / ACC gets entirely new logic behind it.

Early access program beta does not mean it is here. That’s annoying.

The reality is that Ford just needs to remove the confidentiality agreement from their EAP program or remove the program entirely. They aren't going to get 100% of participants to honor it. They let far too many people into the program and most participants probably never "beta test" or provide feedback for anything. They just enrolled because they wanted things before everyone else (lack of patience).

Doesn't sound like the OP cares if he gets anything early or not. Everyone will get it eventually.

EAP is really the final QC check before general deployment. Assuming the EAP test candidates validate the control points, it's only been giving participants a 7 day advantage. It's technically early, but a whole week is far from being something to jump up and down about.

Meh on the blue cruise...

Other important questions:

- Did they revise / eliminate the 5 second full throttle limit on your GT?
- Did they get rid of the 1990s Home, Settings and Camera clip art icons?
- Did they put the speedometer back to the middle of the screen?

WTF. Hey guys, lets make an SUV/wagon/crossover thingy, call it a Mustang then focus on making it drive itself. Seriously WTF.
Hardly the primary focus and it’s really to stay competitive. Every single manufacturer is working on some type of semi-autonomous system. It might seem like the primary focus because it’s still fairly new technology being adopted so yeah, it is kind of the “hype” right now. Especially considering that when you’re making an EV, it gets harder to differentiate yourself from other EVs… sure some are faster, have longer range but overall there isn’t much more that you can focus on rather than user experience. Tesla has proven that user experience can be the sole reason some people make buying decisions.
