I think Ford is in for a rude awakening with renewal rates, even at the $600 price point.

My 2023 MME's BlueCruise Trial Expiration Date has been pushed out to 02/29/24.

At least you have BC 1.3 to try out...

My '23 Job 1 has BC 1.2 and expiring in 2.5 years so I will kick back and wait since I "paid" for this already when I bought the car.

I have the $600 offer. It’s not worth it. Lane centering is free. BC is hands off but in practice, it’s unsafe to keep hands off, especially in a highway bend/turn. $2400 or $600, either way it’s an expense for something that is almost identical to the free features.
The newer generation BC does much better on highway bends. I feel very comfortable using it hands-free.

Is there a deadline on getting the $600/3year deal? I can't figure out if that will be available to me January 1, or if it changes to $800/year on that day. The limited time offer of it all is acting as some leverage against me.
I don't think anyone has gotten a straight answer on this. $600 for 3 years is a great deal compared to current pricing.

Already signed up for the renewal. $600 for 3 years of BC 1.4 is too good of an offer for me to pass up.
I agree. Initially Ford wanted $600 for a yearly subscription. 3 years is a good offer not to pass. Every trip I take when using interstates, I use BC extensively. It can only get better. I can only guess what they will ask for renewal 3 years from now.

Question: With out Blue Cruise, will lane centering and smart cruise control still work? So in other words the car will steer for itself as long as it senses my hand on the wheel?

From elsewhere on this site my understanding is "Yes".

1.3 will offer lane changing which won't be available via smart cruise.

I don't do enough highway driving to justify buying it even at the $600 for 3 year price. Plus, when I do drive a long distance I like to be in control of the wheel and speed. I wish I could gift this better deal to someone who has to pay the higher price and really uses it.

I just reupped. I doubt that I will still own the car in 3 years, so I won't be facing the question of how much will renewal be in 2027. Plus, if I transfer the car before then, it should give the car a little extra value to the next owner.

I like BC 1.0. I expect that when I get 1.4 in a couple weeks, I will like it greatly.

Just to clarify: if you own a 2021 (like me) you have BC 1.0. BC 1.2 came out much later, and does improve the lane centering and disconnects.
Strange. I bought my '21 from the lot in July '21. Blue Cruise was operational from day one.

Your car is probably a MY2021 Job 2 Mach E. Only Job 1 Mach Es were delivered without BC.

I will probably renew at the 3yr rate. But I’m still waiting to try out the new BC. I was up to 6.8 + Voldemort when I left town Thursday afternoon. I’ve driven a few times since getting back Sunday evening, but I don’t yet have the update downloaded and cued for install. Hopefully I didn’t fall into another wave. My updates were previously tracking with @ChasingCoral.

For folks like yourself who are on the fence, it might help to watch this video of BC 1.3 that @Mach-E VLOG released after we had a chance to try out BC 1.3 in Detroit.

The improvements from BC 1.0 make me much more confident in BlueCruise.
