My 21MMEGT is approaching 29k miles. Tires are at about 4/32 with one tire sporting a slow leak. I want to clear 30k and then likely replace all four and pick up hazard on them. Suggestions on best? I'm in DC area - we get a few weeks of winter weather, but not nearly bad enough to warrant separate snow tires. I'd be looking at all-season. At costco, they have 3 options. Thoughts? Bwtter alternatives you suggest?

Michelin Primacy Tour A/S
-$1,242
-55k
-load 103
-Speed Rating: V
-UTQG: 540 A A
-Feature: M & S

Michelin CrossClimate2
-$1,214 installed
-60k
-Load:103
-Speed Rating: V
-UTQG: 640 B A
-Feature M & S plus rated for snow
-Note: Directional tire - only rotation is front to back

Bridgestone Turanza Quiettrack
-? On cost - out of stock temp.
-80k
-Load: 103
-Speed Rating: V
-UTQG: 800 A A

Consider the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06+. It is an UHP that scores well in testing. I have them on my premium.

I am in the same boat. My GT is at 38k miles. I am definitely going to stick with low rolling resistance tires, and those you are considering (besides OEM tires) are not low rolling resistance, and your range will be impacted. Range is very important to me, but it might not be to you.

I am likely going to buy the Hankook Ion Evo AS SUV SUV Touring All-Season in the slightly larger 255/45 size. @markboris make an awesome list of tires that you should check out:

Thanks Mike for the mention but I have a post in another thread that I try to keep the list of tires updated which also include the 19" tires for the Mach-E and a bit more info:

I have the CrossClimate2s on my GT, very happy with them. I believe Ford is putting them on the upcoming Rally trim, for whatever that's worth. Just in 19s on the ugliest rims I've seen in awhile (Ford, please consider a less UGLY option).

I'm in Ontario, moderate snow here, and they're good. Also quite good in rain.

When mine needs to be replaced, I will be going for RFT first.
Any RFT that is EV / LRR ?
Pat, as of right now, I am not aware of any Run Flat EV specific tires that are available in the 19" and 20" tire sizes for the Mach-E. I do know that Pirelli has a brand new EV tire that was just released in Europe and will be here Q2 2024. The P Zero E is a newly designed EV tire with their new "RUNFORWARD" technology which is similar but different to their current run flat tires but made specifically for EV tires. It allows you to run up to 25 miles with 0 psi and is said to have a smooth ride besides being very quiet. Pirelli told me their new P Zero E tires have the least rolling resistance of any EV tire they have made so far. They will only be available in the 245/45/20 and 255/45/20 sizes to fit the Mach-E's with 20" wheels.

I'm on my third set of tires. I opted for Nokian Ones, mine were $780 installed! I can't tell if I'm just suffering weather related range loss(which is entirely possible) or these tires are ever-so-slightly less efficient. I was told to keep them at 45PSI to extend wear life, and to rotate the every 3k ( Point S Tires rotates them for me for free) They have a 77k tread warranty. They are quieter by quite a bit, and even at 45PSI they are a better ride than my two sets of Primacy tires.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I was leaning toward them - my concern is the directional nature of them - are you finding unevem wear due to only being able to rotate front to back (instead of a round-robin) or is it just a matter staying on top of keeping the car aligned?

Thanks so much - have you used the Nokians for both tire replacements or just the last one?

In the DMV as well. Hit a piece of metal in the road the week of Thanksgiving and caused a puncture in 2 passenger tires. Unrepairable as cut was in the shoulder of each tire. Was more concerned as to battery pack damage but there was none.

Picked these up during Black Friday/Cyber weekend on a set of 4 for less than $500 couldn't pass it up. Specs show as Summer performance and H rated not V but the load of 103 is on the money. Rolling for for about 3 weeks now and all is good.

Note: Premium 4x ER so 19" rim for me.

these are very nice... I have about 10k on a set after I wore out stock tires in 20k. I think they have better traction wet and dry than the Michelins had.
