Agreed, I know I read it on here some time ago I think from an interview with one of the MachE product managers where they said the interest didn't seem to be there for front ventilated seats for the MME, and I don't know how that could be the case, or how lower energy methods of keeping occupants comfortable aren't just automatic additions.

I like Doug a lot, and I suspect it might have shifted a bit since the initial review for both the MME and Model Y, but it is shocking to me that the Cool Factor of a Model Y would be higher than both a Model 3 or Mach-e. I think either the M3 or MME are a good two points above the cool factor of a Model Y. Heck, almost any other vehicle Tesla makes but the CyberTruck is cooler than a Model Y.

I don't say that as a full on Model Y hater, I think an MY would fit us better than an M3, but just talking which vehicle I think is "Cooler", there is no contest.

I wish them well. They beat Ford to the punch with nice EVs like the Volt and the Bolt and they're taking early negative reviews of their new platform seriously?.

As someone who traded in an Equinox for my Mach-E, I dig it, if the Mach-E didn’t exist, the Blazer EV would be a very strong contender for me.

I had a reservation for the Blazer EV but pulled the plug. Reading the Blazer EV forum glad I did. Currently have a stop delivery order due to faulty software. Seems the infotainment screen goes dark. Attempts to update software has had partial success. Also appears dealers are clueless. Ford also had the startup headaches but have done a much better job. I'll see where GM is at when the SS debuts.

Three things I’d like in my Mach E:

Ventilated seats, magnaride (in premium), and a HUD just because I want to try it.

I think the Chevy looks fine. No CarPlay is a deal killer. Then the software issues started coming.

In retrospect seeing how many other brands have done with their first EV Ford really did a good job.There were certainly issues (and HVBJB) but at least they didn’t die for multiple reviewers on their first drives.

Me too. And I've been fighting to get my $100 deposit back ever since.

The painful truth is none of these manuaf's are reinventing the wheel(s). Just making them bigger and complicating it as much as possible. If this was 10 years ago I could understand it. I'm hoping this decades rough start (2020~2024) will push them to actually start broad testing and standardization of these modules. Trying to micro-service a vehicle is a terrible idea. Trying to micro-service almost anything is a terrible Idea once some other part of it is handled by some other group (read: not everyone on the same page)

I'm astonished they decided to release the initial version without SuperCruise, saying it's coming "later". Jeez, they've already implemented it in several other vehicles. I bet someone's head rolled over that one.
