Maybe after Elon drops prices on the Model 3 that lost the full $7500 tax credit ?
You are probably correct, Ford will again let Tesla lead the way, you would think by now Jim Farley would want to be a leader and not a follower! ?

The tax incentives are not all gone. By law, the Mach-E still qualifies for $7,500 federal tax credit to lessors. When will Ford transparently credit the full $7,500 amount to lease customers?

I can't for the life of me understand why they have not done this long ago. Ford says it is "for competitive reasons." Which apparently means that they want to not be competitive??

Good point, I think they may very well have to at this point to remain anywhere competitive!

Agreed - all other manufacturers pass along all or most of the credit as a lease cap cost reduction.

Guess we will have wait until the MME starts to pile up on dealer lots to force their hand ?

You don't lead by losing money. Or in the case of the Mach-E, even more money.

With so few EV models qualifying for the tax credit now, I'd be kind of surprised if they heavily discount it (and lose even more money). Of course, the Model Y is the biggie. Some trims of it still get the credit. But it's only a few Teslas, Rivians, the Bolt, and the Lightning now.

True, if most have lost tax credit then everyone is competitively in the same boat.

Or provide an incentive like Cadillac is doing. This was rumored but now confirmed. A friend wasn't going to take delivery of his Lyriq but probably will.
