Thank you so much for the detailed information. This is really helpful.
In general if seems like APIM updates are preceded by GWM abd followed by TCU. This one doesn't seem to be. I assume since it's advertised in FDRS in this case it should be ok to install abd shouldn't break some sequence?

Besides looking at the file path I referenced in my original post , is there a way to see what revision an update to a module will be ?

Are there any references that decode and identify what the different DID sections mean?
There have been many instances of back-to-back APIM and back-to-back GWM updates.

And now...on a snowy Monday morning (which is weird by itself) my MME has a new PSCM update showing up in FDRS ?‍♂

I will say after updating IPMA and PSCM last weekend, I'm seeing some better performance.

* There is a curve on I-95 where handsfree would previously consistently disengage. After the updates, it can hold handsfree thru the whole curve at speed now.

* If I come onto a BC highway without cruise enabled, a little prompt shows on the IPC saying something like "BC available here". I was like "Oh, nice".

* If I engage cruise on a non-BC road, it no longer shows prompt saying something like "BC activating", it just starts the lane-keep-assist bubble without a prompt.

Well hopefully the helpdesk can work with you. I'm not having any issues and am using the latest version. In my view if it's saying that FDRS doesn't even think you're connected to the internet then it's not anything the helpdesk can fix.
Thanks, long story short I did speak to the help desk and I am getting the 2-day license refunded (which required a second call, this time to Helm Inc.). Anyhow, I wagered some of my issues may have been my Windows laptop (I primarily use a Mac) is from late 2016 and was due for a reset/wipe, so I went ahead an did that and hopefully that will smooth things over next time I give this a try. In any event, with my HVBJB part on order and the new TSB regarding "Drive Mode Unavailable" affecting my vehicle, I'm going to wait until after my next dealer visit to try FDRS again.

Ran into an unexpected glitch during my APIM update today.

Everything was going fine and I got past the screen which showed "Update Successful" told me to remove USB drive, which I did.

Then FDRS ran the Part Number Validation process. One of the modules in the middle showed a FAIL. It gave me a prompt to either
1) Retry programming
2) Retry part number validation
3) Exit

I selected 2 (to retry the part number validation), and on the second retry it seems to have passed validation.

Has anyone run into this? I'm a little worried something isn't fully updated given it failed the procedure the first time.

Had the same issue a few months ago. Sync worked fine and even got a OTA update after that.

It happens and you did the right thing by clicking 2.

Thanks all. One more question on the APIM update process. When I launched the update app in FDRS, it asked whether I want to 1) update the APIM or 2) Delete voice files. What is this second option for?

No idea. I've never seen that. Maybe the voice files when you record feedback to send to Ford?

I've seen a bulletin for a Bronco mentioning this.

Hi,

@rugedraw It would be interesting to see the OTA logs for my car since I received a few updates in the past few months. I believe the most recent update was 23-PU1103-NAT-VCE. As far as I understand, the only OTA update I can expect in the near future is 6.3 since I am located in Denmark.

Information about any pending updates in FDRS would also be highly appreciated :)

OTA dashboard is below and yes, that it the last update you got. I was not able to log in to FDRS this morning for some reason, so the list of pending module updates according to PTS is below. I cannot speak intelligently on what the OTA schedule is in Denmark.
