And then if you have the dealer install it, you are looking at another $400 or so. That's getting close to $2K so no, it's not cheap. Good thing there's not an aftermarket want for these, at least not that I'm aware of.

What? It's a Taycan which is technically Mach-E competition, I was genuinely curious and it's a crazy photo. You can also just not read the thread? If the admins think this is off-topic for this sub-category on the forum, they can remove it.

There is an barely moderated Raptor forum on Facebook with a huge following and it's also the last forum you would ever want to go to for actual Raptor related topics.

However if you dig far enough in the OP's reddit thread you will see there is a solution for keep your headlights safe!

Headlight theft happens here in the US and its been going on for a long time. I saw a few posts at the Taycan forum about Porsche headlights being stolen from 11 years ago. The US headlight tech has been far behind what you can get in Europe and Asia but now that US restrictions have been eased on headlight tech naturally theft will increase.

I believe headlight theft will be the next big thing here in the US now that catalytic converter theft is being cracked down on pretty hard. Headlights for even the most basic cars can run well over $1000 and the headlights are easily sold. Added bonus... the collateral damage from removing the headlights will make it worse.



Repairing the Jeep above will cost a lot more than just replacing the headlights
