Today, Ford CEO Jim Farley announced that BlueCruise 1.4 was being rolled out by a new process, "borrowing" from Tesla. "This process was highly successful at Tesla for all sorts of decision-making, so we're immediately implementing it here at Ford.

Let me take a stab at guessing your profession. Engineer? Scientist?

My son is an engineer. Hated the show. We watched it every week, and the reruns after dinner daily. One of the best comedies ever, if you ever knew an engineer or scientist. I know quite a few, and this show is like a mirror of their lives.

As to no more parody threads, I'll stop (maybe) when we get 1.4.

I went to school with people like this. I've worked with people like this. My social circle has been composed of people like this. The depictions are accurate, but exaggerated like all stuff on TV. Some of the humor hit close to home. Oh so close. But I still found it hilarious, partially because of how well they managed to portray geek culture.

Engineer. Don't think that's the litmus though, my BIL is an engineer and loves the show.

I think it’s fair to keep posting parody until we get that update. Whenever that time is, it’ll be “even faster than anticipated”.

This summer or next, or the one after that. Maybe just say: some summer? A summer?

I'd be happy just to get the update that fixes the charge connector potentially welding to the car charge port. The only OTA for me so far in 2024 is the AM radio fix
