I havent seen this posted, and nothing in search history either. Has anyone tried a brake stand in a MME? Hold the brakes with left foot, load the throttle and brake the rear tires free? Either in RWD or AWD? I would imagine RWD would be easy, as I have held the brakes at a light and started loading the throttle and could feel the car trying to overcome. I wasnt brave enough to drop the hammer with AWD but curious.

Someone has to have tried this? And hopefully Ford doesnt monitor this post and try to void our warranties :)

Nope, but my wife pulled the E brake button for me in traffic last weekend. I about lost it. The guy behind me wasn't thrilled either. I was only doing about 10mph and it felt like I'd just drove into a sand pit.
(I know, the exact opposite of what you asked, but it was kinda like standing on the brakes lol)

Was curious on that too, if we got another winter storm was going to try. But disengaging is probably too slow to have any fun.

I switched traction control off, pressed the brake pedal with my left, and attempted the brake stand. The friction brakes groaned a bit, and the car started nudging forward. No wheel spin. My MME is AWD Select, so not as many Ponies as Premium or GT.

I don’t know what you’d accomplish. You can’t rev it! I don’t think the car would do anything different.

You can stand on the brakes in a MMEGT, and floor the accelerator, and nothing much happens other than you can feel the car sort of tense up. In my now-current i4m50 doing that starts launch control.

It does rev though, the throttle isn't locked out, you can feel the car lurch. If we get some weather I will try on snow first.

Yes I’ve done it.

Yes it spins the tires, but only after you release the brakes.

But not really any more than just flooring it from a stop. With my somewhat bald factory tires, I spin if I floor it at any speed up to 30 mph.

Fidgeting.
I will find myself spinning the shifter clockwise on the highway, always gets me nervous, but I am yet to go counter
