Yeah the order's status still says May shipment...in production. My order # is past 7900.

Logistics is a funny business when you're distributing tens of thousands of valuable items. Whatever system they elected to use makes a ton of sense to the shippers.

Yes. It was mentioned multiple times on Friday in this post. Here's the official statement from Ford:

Ford is shipping Fast Charging Adapters in the order in which they were received. Due to a processing error in the initial shipment, a small number of adapters were shipped out of order. Ford is working to deliver adapters as quickly as possible.

Wow, I ordered 3/4/24, a few days after someone else whose order number is below 10,000! How many MachE’s are out there? Sheesh.

I ordered mine on March 9 - I am number 62,946. Estimated Ship - "By September"

Order Number 9000 or so, my adapter was delivered on April 8th. Original delivery estimate was April 2024. Online my order still shows as "In PRoduction".

Ford is shipping Fast Charging Adapters in the order in which they were received. Due to a processing error in the initial shipment, a small number of adapters were shipped out of order. Ford is working to deliver adapters as quickly as possible.

In other words the OTA dept. is handling shipping, so we don't get used to knowing when or where something may arrive.

And if you read a few of the posts it appears shipping to Canada is going thru some sort of a batch process. Bulk shipment to Ford Canada and then shipped out individually. High cost to ship internationally on an individual basis. Just sharing what was stated.

Where do you go to check on this?

I pressed (I think) all the right buttons awhile ago- now if I sign into ford, and press the "Get free adapter button" it just takes me to the "Connected Services" page- and shows me what blue cruise and alexa stuff I have...

FYI - My Adapter arrived today (4/9). Yeah me!!! If memory serves I was #117.

Sweet! My original estimated ship date wasn’t until May. Maybe everyone else will get theirs sooner than estimated too.

Excellent. My order number was in the low 8000s as well, so I hope I'm in the same boat (although I already have an A2Z adapter as a backup). The locking switch on the A2Z is a bit finnicky, so I look forward to the official Tesla/Ford adapter.
