Do you know what the one is that failed or why it may have failed? Will I always have BC 1.2? thanks
The one that failed was resent to you and went through the next time.

BC 1.4 will eventually be sent out to everyone. Nobody knows when that will be.

Thanks again rugedraw. Does this mean I am all caught up on the updates except for the BC? Is there a way to get BC 1.3 until 1.4 comes out? From reading some of the discussions it seems the answer is no. I found BC 1.2 to be quite unsettling on an interstate with curves at 70 mph. It seemed to want to ping pong from left to right to left to right again and again in the lane. I saw a discussion where that works much better with 1.3.

Since you already have BC 1.2, if you were to fully update your vehicle, you would pretty much have BC 1.4. The only difference between 1.2 and 1.4 are stability improvements.

,The IPMA/PSCM updates there would make BC work much better.

Well, this is a first. I have checked A LOT of VINs for a lot of updates, but never have a seen a vehicle that seemingly communicating with the cloud perfectly have an OTA trigger expire in this way when the car seems to be driven everyday. I have no idea what happened here. When an OTA trigger is created for a vehicle, starting it is what makes the OTA process go on to the next step. I can see you started and drover the car several times between 4/3 and yesterday when it expired, but your car never "phoned home" to the server. I have never seen this happen. I don't have a good explanation for you as to why it failed.

Well, I went for 100 mile drive today and had all the directional arrows moving up and down that was hoping that might trigger her event this coming week but I can’t really say that anything is changed right now.

I hope you enjoyed the drive, because if you did it in hopes that the update would download, you drove those 100 miles in vain. lol The screenshot I posted showed the OTA had already expired since 4/17; it was not pending. At this point, you have to wait for it to be resent. An OTA trigger is only good for two weeks. If it does not get activated in two week, it times out and cancels.

It was mostly to see my mileage too, but it was not intended for the over the air update because one I knew it expired, but you can always hope anyways I appreciate you looking at that and if you could put a reminder on your calendar to check on me down the road would be cool, but like I said, I was just wanting to see the mileage on a 70 mile an hour nonstop hands-free driving, which what it was ?

You recently started getting OTAs (the 11th and 12th). So I would just continue to drive the car daily until you are caught up.

Here's the list of available updates in FDRS:
3FMTK4SX6PMA36710-15-Apr-24.png
Trying to be patient but so far have only gotten one more update despite driving most days. I often don't see the up/down arrows showing connectivity. Does that have something to do with it? Should I leave wifi on and connect to my internet when home? I have seen elsewhere on the forum that this was not recommended.
I would be more patient but have had a few glitches that I am hoping will be corrected.
Some examples:
when I get back in car it reverts to guest profile, clock doesn't keep time well, music playing through car play will suddenly change to speakers as if a phone call, climate control will revert to off when I return to car even it stays with my profile. Nothing really huge but all very annoying when they add up.
Is this enough to take it back to dealer and have them do it?
Should I call BEV support? And what is best number for that?

Thanks!!

Feels weird, I have only been called a pre-service by my ex.
Have you ever been called for a post-service?

So the car got picked up by the dealer on April 1 - and got rear-ended on the way there. :curse:
But damage was apparently minor. They got the glass recalls done it the first two days and then the next two weeks was a "the hvbjb parts will be here in a couple of days." They finally came in on Tuesday, 4/16 and apparently have been installed and all recalls and service complete (but not bodywork.) Ford account is still showing the recalls as pending and no new service.

If somebody wouldn't mind, could they re-check 3FMTK3SU0MMA27089 for me?

Hopefully the bodywork can be completed this week. I miss my car!

Well before picking up the car you should have a discussion with the service manager about Ford's bulletin that tells dealers they should do all available updates while the car is in for the HVJB.

They haven't done that. They've left the CMR, IPMA, PSCM, DSP, and the WACM (tell them your phone doesn't charge properly), not done yet.

Awesome, thank you! The service manager did tell me early on that they do "all" updates after the hvbjb part is replaced. I will follow up on Monday about outstanding updates (and the bodywork status.)

I do seem to recall that we saw something like this before where there was some sort of lag between what they actually did and what showed up right away.

Too many posts on this subject to read them all, but I've got to believe I'm in the same boat as a lot of new owners, considering Ford's big push on remaining 2023's.

Got my 2023 about three weeks ago, so it's been mostly just sitting around for about 9 months and seems stuck on 4.0.22326.

Console shows 4.2.1 not completed. Download now button is grayed out. FordPass and website say I'm all setup with WiFi and a schedule and should be receiving updates automatically.

Ford Support (800 number) said the last update they see was refused by the dealer in Jan 2024.

Any chance this is going to resolve on its own, or with some basic troubleshooting, or does this sound more like a "take it to the dealer" kind of situation?

[Edit: Read another 10-20 posts searching through the 100+ I found on 'OTA "not completed"', 'OTA missing', etc.

Seems like there's definitely a difference between "failed", "not completed" and "missing".

Seems like some have had luck with waiting on "not completed".

Seems like a VIN lookup from a helpful forum member would at least give me some useful info to take to a dealer if I decide not to wait, or maybe it would determine if waiting is even likely to help?

Seems like there's a Ford BEV team that might be able to help, but I'm not sure if that's the same as the Support # in the FordPass app. Is there a good/fast way to ask for the right team?

My Charge Level on my ford.com dashboard is 88%, but that seems more related to "failed" status, not "not completed" status. https://www.ford.com/myaccount/?gnav=header-account]

Nope they specifically didn't do those. I guarantee it.

What the service manager meant was that they do all powertrain updates that the TSB tells them to do.

What we're talking about is a separate bulletin that Ford sent to the dealers saying they would pay the labor to do all the other updates at the time a vehicle was in the shop for the HVJB recall.

I was wondering if there are any updates that my car is missing or that have failed to update. 3FMTK3R78PMB00729. Thank you.

@Mike G and @rugedraw

Yesterday I have done a lot of software update with FDRS. only let 2 update which take 3hours as i saw in the forum.

I had launch the IPC update but each time i launch it i had an error in the 1st step (downloading) and i could retry anymore. could you tell me what's the problem?

as you can see the I had the IPC in the bottom of the screen and it says that i have a GVMS advertising. It says that I have to go in PTS to see the state.

I have lot of CMDTC due to software update how to reset it?

many thanks for your help
