As with others who are scheduling their cars in for the HVJB recall...Ford has told dealers that they will pay labor to do every outstanding module update in the available list when the car is in the shop. Make sure that's the understanding you have with your service advisor at the time you drop the car off.

Your list is below. This list does not include pending updates for the APIM, GWM, TCU or IPC. It is very possible that you will not be able to update those even with FDRS. I can tell you from experience trying to help people outside the US that many countries (even those with Ford dealers in them) do not show updates for those modules even with FDRS.

Based on the dates on the column to the far right, it does not seem like the vehicle has phoned home in a bit. If you have FORScan, you can try resetting the GWM and TCU in the menu where the wrench icon on is to see if it forces a sync with the server. I am not sure it works that way, but it won't hurt anything to try. If you do it, lmk so I can check again. I'm curious to see if it works.

Last OTA you got was 4.2.3, so you're a bit behind in updates. Last OTA was 8 days ago, so hopefully the rest of the 4.x.x come in soon. Based on trends I have seen in the past, once you get to the end of 4.x.x series and the one 5.x.x update EV's get, it may be a while before the 6.x.x updates start coming in.

So I just bought mine last weekend but it sat at the dealership 11 months (long enough they just let the 12V die completely). I know it's behind on updates from what I can tell...but not sure if it's so far behind I need dealer to do them as opposed to OTA?

Mike: Thanks so much for taking the time to run a FDRS scan for my vehicle and posting the results. A huge help for me in preparation for my upcoming HVJB recall visit to the dealer. I'll be sure to mention to them that Ford has said they'll cover the cost of doing the module updates and insist they do them at the same time I have my vehicle at their service center. Thanks!

Great, thanks! I guess since I got two on the same day the notification for the Tesla update got squashed.
I'll have to double-check whether the Superchargers show up in my Ford Nav. Last I looked they weren't there. Of course my adapter isn't shipping until at least June, so there's time.

Thanks, that is what I figured. It was delivered to the dealer around July last year. Hopefully some updates will start rolling in without me having to take it back to the dealership.

We stopped getting updates June 2023. Had the car in last month and they had to update some modules and said the car should be good to go. We haven’t seen any new update since then.
