Just a heads up if anybody is on I 10 or coming towards New Orleans or Gulfport Mississippi the charging stations for Electrify America are currently being pulled out of the ground and they’ve got brand new ones in the box so I have no idea when it’s gonna be done. I was kind of giving the guys a hard time. They said you’re not the first one and I said well I live five minutes from here. I’ll charge it. I was just gonna use some of my free hours.
This would be the outlet mall address on I 10 off of creosote Road. The Tesla stations are available in D’Iberville Mississippi about 15 miles from here.

About time. Last time I came through there, they were in sad shape for such a heavy route. There is a popular Tesla station down the road in D’Iberville if you have the Tesla Adapter. There is a note on that station in PlugShare. FordPass just shows “unknown availability “.

Jerry, yesterday I went to an EA location with 6 stations that I normally charge at when I'm a couple hours away from home. There were no cars charging and after trying to charge at two of them (displays on chargers were all normal) they did not charge. After calling EA, they told me all 6 were offline and they could not tell me why but to find another location. I went across the street to the 12 Tesla chargers and only one Tesla was there charging. I pulled in, connected the adapter, plugged in and instantly started charging. Charge rate started at 154 then dropped down to 121 and stayed there until I reached 60% which was enough for me to get back home. Was there a total of about 8 min. I hope you get your adapter soon. ?

Me right now driving my car for the second day since I haven’t had it for 15 I didn’t realize how much I missed it. I hope that adapter does come in the month of June but I’m not having a whole Lotta confidence in that. I forgot something at the Ford dealer and I had to go into the service area and it’s always kind of dark when you pull in there, and there was a guy he was just like jaw dropped looking at my car. He said I’ve test drove 2or3 of these your cars just looks like a whole different version of the cars. I’m like thank you I mean yeah I mean standing here with a little dark and the lights on it really looks different maybe the green decals I have on there lol.

Both Apple Maps and Ford Nav routed me directly to this station. Not cool. ABRP seems to know better. It’s sad that we still have to use PlugShare for basic information.

I know there’s a lot of people probably not using those stations, but I’ll go by there every couple days and get an update how They’re doing.

You had to see our faces when we pulled in on Thursday afternoon. The working crew was saying the same thing. No warnings about the stations until yesterday. They could had left (2) running while they were replacing the rest of them. We had to backtrack to D’lberville MS and use the Tesla superchargers. If you don’t have the adaptor…..you are screwed. Funny thing also. I upgraded my membership to Pass+ in order to use those particular stations. The good thing is that they are updating the stations. The new stations can do 90KWH and 350KWH. That is what they(EA) are advertising.
We are returning home on Monday the 24th. I don’t expect miracles from EA.
Back to Tesla stations again.

i was drivin past there yesterday and noticed that gulfport and hammond were off line. So i went to tesla and used my A2Z adapter instead.

On my late May 2024 interstate trip through the Midwest I noticed EA stations I usually use near Cincinnati Ohio were getting new charging pedestals... seems to be a (welcome) trend.
